This makes sense. I was exactly like your husband. Let me guarantee you that despite him not wanting kids right now, the fact that he wants them with you in the future means that while a pregnancy would be disruptive, it would not the the end of the World. I doubt any Man that loves his wife and wants kids with her in the future would pressure her into getting an abortion.
