Made this app called Catvision which is like a live TV channel but for cats.
I figure that people working at home, either remote workers or hybrid workers that own cats are familiar with a kitty checking up on them while they are busy with work. Catvision starts as a small window and can be bumped to full screen and thrown up on an extra monitor so that your cat is FASCINATED while you work.
The Catvision app is completely free. no sign up, no login. It just plays like TVs used to back in the day
I put some cat affiliate links in the app to monetize it but no intrusive ads or anything like that. Anyway it is just cats watching it, what are they going to buy?

Hey thanks for this, would love a honest take on my extension as its my first and I have no experience with extensions, best practices and how to determine if 300 users after 1.5 months is actually ok or too low :D

I checked it out and it genuinely looks good. Free and open-source, with links to the code - a big plus for trust.
A couple of suggestions:
Add a short promo video (15–30 sec) so new users can instantly grasp the value - creating a room, sharing a link, watching in sync.
Strengthen search visibility: identify the keywords people actually use to find tools like this and reinforce them in the extension name, title, and description.

Or maybe just show the mockup on mobile to with a button maybe so its not always visible, because right now its hidden on mobile.
