Not for the 3ds, same deal we have here, you can still download. Remember that wii VC stuff or digital little games? Poof, they're gone if it's not on your console. It's not if, it's when. They WILL fucking do it again down the line. Just waiting for shit to get older so people will accept it without much resistance which to me is horrid, you should be able to download your stuff no matter how old as long as the pissing company is still going. But they don't think like that if they can save a few cents.

It's sad that physical games are getting phased out. I like how I have access to my old games as long as I have the cartridge and the console, no need for internet connections and logins.
