The Yen Rich Program is a service that provides an additional interest rate on your Yen savings account when you meet the conditions of eligible services. The additional interest is granted monthly as an interest benefit. For ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET members, ANA miles are granted as a prize benefit instead of the interest benefit.
The monthly additional interest rate applies to a monthly average balance in your Yen savings account between 1,000 yen and 10 million yen.
Four Eligible Services
For customers who use eligible services and meet the conditions, we verify the eligible services each month and apply the additional interest rate the following month. For details, please see How to Earn the Additional Interest Rate.

Maximum Benefit for Those Under 18 Years Old
On the last day of each month, individuals under 18 years old registered for family benefits will always have the maximum interest rate applied, even if they do not use eligible services.

- Interest on Yen savings accounts is subject to withholding tax at a rate of 20.315% (15.315% income tax, 5% local tax), including the special reconstruction income tax, until December 31, 2037.
- In this program, we verify condition fulfillment each month and deposit one month's worth of additional interest into the Yen savings account of customers who meet the conditions. (For ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET members, ANA miles are granted.)
- The type of benefit granted in this program is confirmed based on the card type held as of the last day of the month preceding the benefit grant month.
- For the interest benefit, if the account is closed at the time of granting, it is not eligible for the benefit.
- For the ANA Mileage Benefit, if your ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET membership is canceled at the time of benefit allocation, you will not be eligible for the program's benefits for that month. From the following month onward, benefits will be allocated according to your held card type and fulfillment of conditions.
- If the interest amount is less than 1 yen, it is not eligible for the interest benefit (ANA Mileage Benefit).
- Junior NISA dedicated accounts are not eligible for the interest benefit (ANA Mileage Benefit).
