question about censored swear words
last night, one of my projects got taken down because “it uses language, gestures, and/or symbols that are not appropriate for Scratch in the project text, labels, images, audio, lyrics, or notes.”.
in the project, all swear words in the project are censored with the censor beep, so originally i was confused because it didn't make sense with me.
i asked someone who's also on scratch (they're not part of, or work for the ST btw) and they told me that even tho i have censored the curse words, the (possible) reason why is that people could still understand what the words are. i thought maybe it wouldn't have been a deal when sharing it.
my question is that: “why is it that even tho i censored the cussing, it still got banned?” idk i might not understand much about the issue
and if the project getting taken down was justified, i could maybe understand why, and i'll do a different method from how i originally do it.

question about censored swear words
Censoring bad words doesn't protect it from being taken down. If its understandable for what they're saying, then yes it can get taken down

question about censored swear words
maybe that would've been the case, but i expect the “no swear words” rule to be specific that you should remove the profanity completely instead of censoring it entirely
