How to Create a macOS Tahoe Installation USB

There is an off shoot App based on the OCLP App that restores full Audio.
Unfortunately it is in Chinese but if you're familiar with OCLP app, the buttons to click are the same just in a different language.

There is also another that installs the missing AppleHDA.kext to bring back Audio.
I have tested and used both of them and they work very well.

The caveat with the hybrid OCLP one is that just like the official OCLP App, you need to reverse the Audio patching to get the incremental updates then you can reapply the patch again.

I can control the volume on my keyboard.

SO can I with my Logitech MX Keys for Mac keyboard.
Anyhow this is not a case of....'Mine is bigger than yours' I just thought it was a good idea to let members be aware that there are at least two alternatives to regain Audio as before.

As it stands, Apple will not restore Audio in the state it was before Tahoe but if some are satisfied with audio via their
monitor or any other way, then I dare say the earth will keep on turning any which way audio is achieved.

My audio signal is from the graphics card via DisplayPort instead. Does it also require AppleHDA?

I use Audio from the 680XT and have disabled AppleALC as it caused boot issues for me, my audio works fine using DP

The DP audio from the RX 6800 XT might be served/enabled by WhateverGreen.kext.

VoodooHDA may be another option. In some builds the audio quality with VoodooHDA is decent and after installation the SIP value can be changed to 01000000.

Same thing, as both kexts contain fixes & patches for DP & HDMI Audio.

I'm sorry for the remedial question, I'm a former unibeast user trying to update. How does one do this step?

14. Install OpenCore EFI using the USB's EFI partition (Install macOS Tahoe) as the target volume.

When I download Opencore 1.0.6-release I don't see anything that could be used to install OpenCoreEFI. Do I just use MountEFI and Copy the x86 EFI over?
