Not sure where to post this maybe more appropriate in just xbox modding section. I see lot of people say you need jrpc or jrpc2 in order to run certain things. Xdrpc works in place though"it is simply jrpc,jrpc2, and xdpx in one plugin" as it says when you open in the ini you will see. I believe you can run an xdrpc .ini as well rather than jrpc or ur jrpc should work with xdrpc. Is there any benifit to runing the buggy old plugins rather than the combo or do people just not know what xdrpc is? Been bugging me.

From what I've gathered from the support sections, people are having massive problems with XDRPC.
However, I don't know if they're simply just using it wrong.
(I think you're not supposed to put XDRPC into your plugins at all? A modified xbdm executable is supposed to load it into memory automatically?)

But well, just running all JRPC, JRPC2 and RPC at the same time seems to be a good trustworthy way.
(You're likely to get away with not keeping the old JRPC plugin on, but some old tools seem to not co-operate without you having the old JRPC plugin)

IMHO, if you can't figure out how to use it, just stick with loading JRPC2 via launch.ini, and then your additional RPC plugins via JRPC.ini (such as JRPC, RPC, etc.).

I run it and all my tools work with no jrpc or jrpc2 its my 5th plugin and it works fine why i made this thread i dont understand running three plugins separately when there is one with all built into it. In my comment i even said it worked for me i feel like it wasnt really read.

XDRPC is an RPC library built by Microsoft for devkit use. Like XBDM, but RPC.

(if you don't believe me check out the \win32\bin directory of your SDK installation, there you will find the DLL named "xdrpc" (you will also find the "xdevkit" and "xbdm" libraries here as well)).

Also just like XBDM, XDRPC was converted to RGH/JTAG use, by the use of a plugin (XDRPC.xex).
NiNJA's XDRPC plugin is really buggy. That's why most people have issues, they are using that plugin. Immense has a much cleaner, working plugin (dunno if he made it or not), and he will also be able to shed some more light on what XDRPC actually is, and if any information I have given (or already in the thread) is incorrect.

However, I still sometimes (very rarely) experience issues with XRPC functions, and therefore I use the RPC.xex plugin as well as my XDRPC.xex plugin. I have not ever had an issue with a JRPC function though, and XDRPC also reads from the JRPC.ini to include any extra plugins you have in there as well, so I have found there to be no reason whatsoever to have XDRPC and JRPC2.

I run rpc as well honestly only because nooberts tut had told me to lol. Thanks for that mate more in depth. Im only month in and i dontvwant to just know how to make work but why things work. I had noticed that the xdrpc said it was jrpc jrpc2 and xrpc put together why i made this wanted more info from people been running more than a month.
