The 1.5 billion euro bankruptcy

The number of insolvency proceedings in the collapse of real estate portfolio holder Level One has now risen to 38. One of the largest real estate bankruptcies in Germany with claims of more than 1.5 billion euros is likely to result in a number of further proceedings, said Rolf Rattunde, the insolvency administrator. Fifty applications have been filed, he said, and it can be assumed that the responsible Berlin district court, Charlottenburg, will grant all of them.
