This summer has been one filled with Jesus’ grace and kindness.
This is my service dog, Kody, graciously trained and provided to me by @believet.csp in Minnesota.
This past Sunday, I finally preached a sermon I’ve carried for seven years, from a passage Jesus gave me when our lives fell apart in 2018-2019. I committed to not preaching it until it was deeply ingrained in my bones, and He said the time was right.
It’s about weakness, pain, suffering, wounds…both visible and invisible. The fear of being unwanted if people really knew…the pain of people we loved throwing us away as we shared our weakness with them.
AND it’s about the grace of Jesus that meets us right there in the midst of the pain and weakness.
If you’ve ever felt like your weakness is too much for God and others, I’d love for you to hear this message: “My Weakness, His Strength” (link in the comments)
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:9)
My friends - You have a story. It matters to God, and it matters to me.
You are not alone. Your weakness, submitted to Jesus, is true strength and the exact place where His power rests.
If I can pray for you, walk with you, or encourage you in any way, please reach out. It would be an honor to walk with you.
