Is it normal for my new kalorik Maxx air fryer oven grill doors to have a slight opening when closed?

Customer: I just bought an air fryer oven grill with French doors. After taking it out of the box, I noticed a slight gap where the doors meet when closed. Is this normal? I can easily slide a utensil between the doors.
It's electric.
This issue just started since I took it out of the box.
