What is its age?

The issue with that model is that the door can slam shut quite forcefully, particularly if the table is uneven. Does it appear that the top edge of the door is getting caught, or could the door be stuck together?

If you give it a little shake, does it open then? The mechanism that connects the two doors can become wedged when the door closes forcefully. It's quite easy for the doors to close hard.

Shaking the doors may help to dislodge the mechanism.

The mechanism might be bent. Perhaps returning it to the retailer could be a solution? The door mechanism on that model tends to be quite problematic. This won't be the first issue you encounter with the door. Did you notice how difficult it is for the door to close? Another concern with that model is that while reaching for an item, you might accidentally nudge the door, causing the hot door to close on your hand.
