We know you still have some questions about today’s announcements and wanted to drop some helpful information about our APY Benefits, the Smart Card, and SoFi Plus.
To be crystal clear, today and in the future, you will NOT have to pay to earn your high APY. Even when Plus changes to a $10 subscription fee in April, that will not change.
👉Members will continue to earn high APY¹ when they have eligible direct deposit, $5,000 in qualifying deposits every 31 days, or sign up for SoFi Plus via paid subscription.
SoFi Plus is becoming a paid subscription that offers 20+ exclusive benefits including a 2% match on recurring IRA contributions, 1% match on recurring SoFi Invest deposits, 5% cash back on groceries with the new Smart Card, discounts on loans and more. SoFi Plus gives you $1000+ in annual value across these benefits with qualifying activities.
👉Current member who get access to SoFi Plus via direct deposit or $5,000 in qualifying deposits will receive complimentary access to all SoFi Plus benefits through March 30, 2026 by maintaining eligible deposits.
👉Starting March 31, 2026, you’ll need to subscribe to SoFi Plus for $10/month to continue receiving all Plus benefits, including an extra APY boost on top of your high APY.
