Minutes ago, Jersey Jack pinball launched a new short teaser video on the screens of its pinball machines for its upcoming pinball machine based on the iconic video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog. Owners who turn on their games this morning will get a brief glimpse of the front of the cabinet of the Collector's Edition of Sonic. It shows the coin door and a little of the "Radcal" decals with cool blue sparkles.
The full reveal of the game is happening a week from today, Tuesday June 23rd. Games are already on the production line at JJP's Elk Grove Village factory on a second line alongside Harry Potter. This is the first time that the Company has produced two different machines simultaneously.
I am scheduled to attend a Launch Party for the game at the arcade Under the Glass Pinball in Red Bank, New Jersey next weekend - Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th. Both Jersey Jack's founder, Jack Guarnieri, and the new game's legendary designer Steve Ritchie will be in attendance at the event (see below for the flyer). I can't wait to see it in action!
UPDATE: This afternoon, Jersey Jack sent out an e-mail containing a Gif that shows off a little more of the game with the following message:
"Next Stop: Launch Zone 🌀🌴: A new era of speed, skill, and Sonic-powered pinball is almost here. The countdown has begun."
