The new version allows to easily patch new firmware versions for which official patches haven't been released yet.

What is the purpose of kobo patch

To modify some behavior of standard Nickel. If you install the program, in the patches section, you can see every patch you can enable if you wish to do so.

Personally, I use:

  • Reduce top/bottom page spacer when footer/header are of

  • Increase home screen cover size

  • Increase cover size in the cover view list

  • Increase cover size in the series list

  • Increase font for Dictionary

  • Increase book details area

  • Reduce footer/header height when they are enabled

  • Fine tuning of font size and margins for kepub

  • Only show the Stat Links in the third row (+ the Shop)

  • Unify font size between kepub and epub
