I've just left the Mater Hospital after meeting health workers from many backgrounds who are genuinely terrified for their own safety and for the safety of their families.
They are appealing for those behind these attacks to stop.
These health workers are the people who care es when we need them most.
I made sure to share with them the deep appreciation that the vast majority of people have for the work they do every single day
