Welcome to Wiki Loves Fútbol, a WikiLatinos campaign to improve Wikipedia coverage of Latino fútbol (soccer) culture, belonging, and economic power during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the first World Cup held in the United States since 1994. This is our moment to tell the complete story.

We are inviting Wikimedians in any language to participate. Whether you are a football editor, an immigration policy specialist, a photographer documenting your local watch party, or a translator bridging English and Spanish Wikipedia, there is a contribution track for you.

Choose Your Track: Wiki Loves Fútbol has two main tracks

  • Editing – Improve articles, add sources, create new content
  • Photo – Document Latino fútbol culture in the United States
