frens of r/neet: So I've just been asked that, if someone else's already made a GM post, that I shall not make another one. I'm very upset. I've been backstabbed. And this is why you're gonna see my GMs at different times, LESS OFTEN. I don't deserve to be treated like this.

There are countless things in the Universe that's beyond our comprehension. I mean, if you have to understand everything, that's gonna completely preclude miracles, magic, growth and improvement from your life, wouldn't it?

There are many opinions of mine I can't even fully explain, but later turn out to be correct and very precise. They are beyond other people's current understanding, but they are right, founded and well-rounded.

Your question is really much bigger in another space and not in the context you're asking about. People often decide everyone must think and believe like they do, not allowing for diversity, and the number one weapon in these artificial arguments is going to this corner you've suggested, accusing others of bad belief, bad understanding, believing in what they don't understand. That's the source of a lot of strife in our world right now.

What you're asking is really not about belief, but about letting everyone live the way they need to, without looking "right" to you. I don't mean obviously hurtful acts, but things like diet and lifestyle? Stop accusing others of not eating right, medicine does not have complete understanding of the human body!

It's not contradicting to say both "I want to understand" and "there are things I don't yet understand, or I may never understand, but Imma let them be." Only over-literal people with ulterior motives will take us to task over that.

Meanwhile, one huge thing that's "unprovable" to a lot of people is: is someone a good person. Society has completely lost the plot in terms of judging who's the good person or bad person, people are repeated completely wrong about who they should trust, embracing psychopaths while belittling and abusing good-natured people. They often go overboard because the human heart is unprovable.

Caring to not fully understand, aka live and let live, is a core value most societies on Earth have lost at this point, and our top priority is we need to get it back for the sake of our future.

Urban sprawl is very real.

However, metropolitan areas in the way your link suggests is a Western concept. Us Asians are used to seeing the administrative regions separately. Just like the Japanese would never say Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa are all "greater Tokyo." Even if those prefectures (counties) have a ton of people who work mainly in Tokyo, doesn't make them technically greater Tokyo, they are politically, administratively separate.

Also funny considering how many on this sub have downvoted me for counting Nonthaburi as greater Bangkok.

You're thinking about eating in an erroneous way that punishes yourself unnecessarily.

Who decides your portions? how much of what do you actually need? Portion is a societal concept and humans have done very silly things to starve themselves of nutrient just to fit in with society.

I did not begin to lose weight until I added the equivalent of a 4th meal, 5th meal. Some days I need over 100 gram of protein which is a lot of food. Your cravings will not stop until certain missing nutrients are restored to your body, and you will have to eat a ton if you eat foods with low nutrient.

We have been grossly misled about nutrition. A lot of people have symptoms from missing a basic mineral or two.

People lack potassium desperately, and therefore they need potato chips and the cravings refuse to stop. So the actual way t take back control is to give your body enough potassium: You can try a little tomato juice or coconut water, and see if that shifts your craving. If it's not potassium, try something else. Chocolate craving indicates you lack magnesium, etc etc.

There's always a nutritional cause behind your cravings, your body will make you reach for the nearest approximate source of what it needs, even if it's a bad source. A lot of people have been scared into eating not enough salt, and one source of that is junk food.

This is the single biggest conundrum of my life, and my conclusion is most people don't really know the how. They think they do but they don't. They also lack the very basic understanding that different people need to be taught different ways.

Things like political discussions worsen their mental acuity by always abandoning nuance for generalization.

That crassness, lack of cerebral refinement, is at the root of all their bad advice and their own missteps in life.

For instance a lot of people lampoon non-religious spiritual stuff as woo-woo or empty, but I'm really getting a lot of benefits from that that they don't have. They're low quality people who don't want to get better, and nobody should have these people in their lives, it's downright toxic.

In astrology, Taurus is the resident pollyanna, desensitized sign, in a good way. Taurus is the sign earmarked to hold on to certain values and mindsets, and thus it has inherent capacity to willfully ignore others in specific ways. It naturally occurs to a Taurus that things might all work out if it just hunkers down and does its own thing.

The rest of us are not built like that. We're wired to pay attention to the flow of the world, including those wildly irrelevant to our own lives. So when you say "fiercely protective" it's a reaction to the irritants we can't ignore but probably should.

Scorpio, your opposite sign, is by far the most threatened by these irritants, more than Virgo or Pisces, and because their focus is on either showing the world their chops or pain avoidance, they can't just be fiercely private like Virgo and Pisces, they have to be hypervigilant. October Scorpios in particular will have a lot of "ick."

OP, Thailand sees even Rabbit card as a money laundering risk. Thailand's strategy is basically to abolish this option that you want.

I brought my debit card from home to Bangkok, and have no problem using it on Shopee, at physical supermarkets, fast food joints or 7-eleven (minimum purchase 200B), so for now that's the daily tap to pay option for foreigners in Thailand.

I live in a part of Asia where food poisoning at restaurants have spiked in the last 2 years.

There are a lot of snide behind-the-scenes minor cost cuts that are (edited to correct- upstream) from eventual results like melted ice cream and food poisoning. I'm sure anyone who's worked in those industries can give you a whole litany of what they've changed.

For 20 years I've had this notion of everyone spiraling, everyone's screws in their heads coming loose, and now it's finally gotten to a level where the negative results are showing. Because of profiteering, so much of this world is held together by the will power of those who hang on to their job posts desperately, and when the squeeze gets even worse to a level they can't handle, you get melted ice cream, you get food poisoning.

Everyone needs to be more Bernie and take corporate to task. They are the author of most of our pain, not politicians.

It's my lived experience that you get what you let yourself have. Those who have more of anything than me, have them because they don't have the mental (moral, philosophical, educational) blocks I do.

Most concepts in the world are slave master language designed to keep you working as a backdrop, so the ruling class can be jet setters, entrepreneurs and just go around not giving a care. Everyone needs, at a minimum, learn that your enslavement should never prevent you from kindness, even when your greedy master forbids you. That alone would solve a great deal of the conundrum you've posited in this post.

Elon Musk is a cheat, a liar and an immoral person, and cons all the Conservative Christians in the land. Every time they excuse his behavior that don't align with their values, like fcking all his female subordinates except Robyn Denholm, it's a form of abyuse, isn't it?

The antichrist is sitting right in front of you, all you have to do is notice him :PPPP

I'm very happy that I'm not him, and he's probably glad he's not his old pal Peter Thiel.

This is the one occasion where I'd say, be glad for what you've got.

By summer 1999, books speculating about Swissair 111 were sold inside Halifax airport near the gates. I had the fright of my life casually skimming through one while waiting to board an AC DC-9. Good thing I didn't know about AC797 :P

I flew on September 11, 2001 in Asia, leaving for the airport after both towers had collapsed. So the two China Eastern pilots came to the gate, they found out from the TV there, and their reaction was "oh wow, George w's in deep doodoo this time" with no regard for the dead.

Thinking back now, I'm just glad they arrived at the gate fresh from rest to operate a 2AM red eye; in 2026 many airlines would likely schedule my flight as 1 crew operating the outbound then also the red-eye return, which I wouldn't wish upon anyone no matter what they say about 9/11.

Also a sidebar - MU at the time was already serving soda from 2-liter bottles, which many carriers have now adopted as a ESG SDGs cost-saving measure.

I'm Spiritual but reject all religion - other humans don't get to define MY relationship between myself and god. They claim their tainted word are the word of god, which is like, how criminal can you get? So don't listen to them. Instead, listen to your heart because that's where godliness lives.

Understand that you need to live for yourself, you are here to have an experience because life in and of itself is a necessary catalyst. When you do what feels right to you, realize that that's what god wants for you too. Your choices, your efforts, are in and of themselves the way god intends for you to contribute to the world.

Oh yeah, all the time, since I was little, continuing through different cultures and decades.

The sooner you "cut your losses" (in air quotes) the better, and just assume the Universe is trying to get you to turn away from normies.

I am aware that I do it, and the main reason is I don't even do it for myself. The moment I stop keeping score, others will keep score of everything I've done and find opportunities to use it against me.

Besides, to paraphrase RuPaul - noone can use it against you if you haven't done it. So to point this out in particular about Virgo but not other signs is kind of unfair.

This is surprisingly astute as far as internet astrologers go, although if you watch RPDR it's also readily performed by many of the the queens in their scripted story arcs :P

If you can't sleep on an airplane (like me) it's not the airline's fault. You need to be much more calculating with your trips in order to look out for yourself. Don't just follow convention and book these 2-leg long flights, because you have needs convention won't meet.

The solution depends on your particular health situation, but it's going to get expensive. For instance, you might want to break up the journey into several legs to shorten the flights, going to Vancouver first, then flying Vancouver-Japan or Vancouver-South Korea, before flying to your Asian destination from there. Depending on where your vague Asian destination is, you might want to break up the trip some more. Get a hotel room for one night each leg. But yeah, that's the only real way to tackle it head-on.

I fare much better when I fly business class, even if I still can't sleep. That's also expensive, but I could get by on the sheer adrenaline rush.

I don't know why people keep asking this question.

A lot of us are actually forced into NEETdom when society will gaslight and claim it was our own choice, when it's in fact untenable working and social conditions that will seriously harm our mental health or quality of life if we continue.

When you ask a question like this, you're playing into their hands. You're playing along with for instance, those British a-holes who think 20-25 year olds are just lazy and a burden on their country if they even have a moment of confusion about what to do with life next. That's downright toxic. How dare civil servants say the people they serve are a burden? What happened to your service? Are you just coming out as ruling class? :PPP

So, Whoever sees this, I hope you'll think twice before you ask this question again.

In the 70s and 80s, the only occasion astrology would use the idea of "unevolved" is on Scorpios, never the other 11 signs 😛 Not because we don't need to but because it's 1000x more pertinent to Scorpios.

Scorpio has to learn to lose their pride and truly be an open book, warts and all, that's how they become lovely people. They will have plenty of harrowing events in life as opportunities, to learn to be fearless. A truly fearless Scorpio will not do these things to you out of their own insecurity.

However a lot of Scorpios never get there, and all they get from those events is to build up their guard and be more manipulative, as measures of pain avoidance.

I also want to say, Virgo-on-Virgo sex is much better for me.

You're arguing "but what about me?" when the type in fact includes a lot of people that are exactly like you. So it's merely a problem of not understanding the types well enough, or not having someone like me who understands types more intuitively who can lay it out for you.

A ecording Walkman in reasonable condition is likely better than WAR.

In North America you guys have access to thrifting decks, it therefore feels like low-hanging fruit that everyone should get a deck. However that's not true where I live - sellers are a-holes who all want $200 and up for a deck. And I also don't have space for them, and I want to live a very mobile lifestyle where I can pack up and move to another country without shipping things.

I've found the recording Walkmans more than acceptable, like a Sony GX312 (picture not mine) from the mid-90s that I recently got for $25. Buying older hardware will always be a gamble, and unlike decks, older portables are best treated as perishable, i.e. when you budget, assume you're gonna buy again in a year or two max.

My satisfaction also went up once I began to "misuse" Type II tape on these type I-only recorders.

You don't in fact know what you think you know. You're just spouting the narrative they want you to believe.

I don't have discussions with shallow thinkers like that.

OP has so many logical inconsistencies and loopholes, that's interesting.

Listen. The moral thing to do is every country needs to ban AI altogether. That's the ONLY right thing to do. Jobs cannot be replaced just because they are replaceable. AI is being used to repress the public and threaten them into accepting lower wages and subhuman treatment. You, OP, are aiding and abetting this citing "it can't be avoided" - YES IT CAN. Things with much smaller impact than AI, like hard drugs, have received much harsher bans across societies in the past. Why not just ban AI and treat it like the biggest threat to social stability, ever?

Projects like these concern industrial autonomy, and cannot be measured on cost alone. If you go by necessity you'll always think it's not very necessary.

So much of Europe buys even their electricity from France. Including Germany, IIRC. A Germany that buys power from France will never think such a project can be financially justified.

If you want the ability to make something yourself (without buying from countries you don't like or may not like in the next 50 years), you have to put in the money and understand the return may be low.

For instance, the US would've been much more persuasive if they made Huawei's equipment that they wanted their allies to stop using. Everyone understood this during the Cold War.

My favorite musicians - the ones I call my fairy godmother and godfather - are both Virgo Sun, Libra Moon, and they are incredibly affable humans. r/mylenefarmer needed 30 years before she could sing "F you too" in a lyric herself. (she used to relegate it to the backing vocals) I find it hard to believe that whatever you say might hurt the feelings of a Pisces 😛

But with Libra Moon, as you can see with Ariana Grande, the more you care about someone's feelings, the more they turn the tables to demand that you placate/appease them to the next level. That might be what's going on here.

It seems to me that your expectations are fine, but you keep choosing new people to recreate this dynamic with you. This is not an astrology issue but more of a Law of Attraction issue, as in the unspoken feelings of "damn, all men are like this towards me" or "they always put me in the wrong" manifesting as your reality.

As a child I spent 6 months desperately looking for The End of the Innocence before learning what it's called and finally finding the cassette, and later the tape broke - caused by a guide post coming loose. My dad spliced the tape back together for me.

In reality I was not chasing Don Henley, but rather Bruce Hornsby's piano. In the same timeframe there was this song, and also I Can't Make You Love Me.

Just imagine how greedy an airline has to be to want to cut 1 pilot's pay from the cost of a flight THIS MUCH, that they'd even entertain the concept of single-pilot ops. But that's not news; even Boeing got jealous and decided it's not fair that Boeing did not have Apple-level profit margins, even though the safety demands of their products are night and day.

I'll say, I was quite mentally destabilized when I went to Thailand, and saw Tim Hortons charges 50 US cents for 1 Timbit, that's just one Timbit. I'd expect herbal infusions for that exorbitant price.

You must get it into your head that you and I have inherent value for merely breathing.

in r/abrahamhicks a basic concept is the Universe delivers what you want through the most "ready" set of pipeline that you've got. You have some inherent belief that Claude can do this and so you manifested evidence of Claude doing this better. Other solutions/pipelines are "blocked" by your beliefs that they're less able or less likely, and so your desire for success manifested through Claude.

You say half of you wants to see it trip up, but the sum of your "attraction" from all your thoughts, is actually that Claude will succeed. It's not even half-half. We all have mental pictures planted in our heads that shouldn't be there, that's now fueling this takeover. So the lesson here, if you don't want to see it, is you have to fully believe in what you want. Either that, or you have to believe it's a force for good, and go very deep in your head to weed out any fear that it might do otherwise.

AI is bad. It's not only a loss for humanity, you are giving the profiteers a reason to make life even less tenable for all of us whose lives are already miserable. But that's my small-self opinion.

In Law of Attraction terms, you attract what you believe. There are no exceptions, include pre-existing hidden beliefs planted in you by the media and education. That's why it's so important to believe in what you want, regardless of evidence. You can see the ruling class use Law of Attraction all the time, they'll even invent phrases that worm into your head, that manifest what they want at your expense. The best antidote to this is to believe you can have what you want, and pull out all the stops.

I am. The power structure bullied me a lot during covid.

"Dem Soc" or whatever they call it now is proven unworkable. It just sounds good (and looks good) but is not workable. You gotta get over that thing in your brain where you think something sounds like the way it should be - that's just a thought and not rooted in real life workability.

I research things I want to know. I have so many questions about practical things I have to do in real life, that they take up most of my time.

  • How to truly disable Windows Update, because after you've already disabled it, it forces an update anyway in no discernable way that you can see.

  • How to get from point A to point B in a foreign town cause I might want to go there

  • am I getting a stomach ulcer

  • can you edit videos with the Macbook Neo which I might want to buy in a couple years

  • why do most aroma diffusers not work

  • how to make baby back ribs with a crock pot (surprise: don't add water)

Contrary to popular belief, Reddit is a great source of real life info. For instance, search "sephora loss prevention" and it's fascinating, like woah I didn't know the average person really took advantage of certain cities not prosecuting "that behavior" under $950. Woah. And here I was enjoying my cheap skin product that I can buy honestly. Anyway, that's how I use the internet.

Podcasts are overrated. It's just what FM and AM radio used to be for older generations in the past.

My experience is any craving is your body attempting to get you to take in some nutrient it's desperately missing. It's silly to judge people for craving certain foods or consider it a lapse of willpower, because that's not how it works.

I would crave fish if I lack iodine, potato chips if I lack potassium, and chocolate if I need magnesium. Once I get enough, those foods lose their appeal to me, until I deplete those nutrients again.

I have the same open channel (59/6) as Donald Trump and John Lennon, which explains how people behave towards me. That's the benefit Human Design has offered me, in one sentence.

Those with this channel defined in their chart tend to be naturally skilled at breaking down walls, facilitating bonding, and fostering close relationships.

My NEETdom is about how people feel threatened, and turn violent against me when they sense that ability in me.

It's not mysterious. Personality typing is a best-effort attempt to explain and categorize, I use a dozen systems cause they all say a little bit that's spot-on.

The Universe (or, your god) intends for you to get in touch with yourself, because to know you is to know them, and these are no more than conduits the world has for you to try on for size.

That's not as much mythbusting as he claims to have done.

When I heard people discuss Tanashin I actually never thought of it in context of portables, I just assumed it was mainly the home equipment mechanisms. Portables have different demands and have almost always been very different from home equipment in design brief and engineering (e.g. durability).

And, it's kinda playing a game of semantics to say "it's a myth that modern mechanisms are bad" and then point out many of them have improperly balanced flywheels, or motor interference that hurt playback quality.

But yeah, youtuber's gotta do what youtuber's gotta do.

And, this routes us back to, it looks increasingly like I'm right, that Fiio could easily do something that matches the quality of higher-end older portables, so why don't they? Why not take a crack at their own mechanism or even their own motor?

Saturn and Neptune in Pisces were difficult for Virgo and for Pisces too, causing some of us to constantly have to be combative to defend ourselves. That ended a few months ago.

In the last few months since those 2 left Pisces, I've (Virgo) begun to feel the need to argue reduce, so perhaps that's also true for your Piscean friends. After all, Pisces is all about Oneness and merging with other souls, so even if they argue or get combative, that's often just their way of getting entangled with you.

The whole point of travel is to see different cultures, and I believe you just missed a local custom at least, and at the most it's probably wise of Thai people to prefer to wait in line for a real human over just blind-tapping card in systems that, as they've known all their lives, can be flaky.

London is a low bar. Are there Asian cities that don't tell you how much your fare was on the spot?

Why are you so in your head that you think it's okay to not know how much money has been wrangled from your hand? This belongs to the "YOU HAD ONE JOB--" category and yet you act like I'm a mean person for saying this?

It's common sense for an MRT system to have an accurate, instant account of the fare. When I go back to my Asian country, I can see it all day everyday while using my credit card to tap in and out of MRT. They do it in Japan. They do it elsewhere. London is not an excuse for Thailand to behave this way.
