🎉 Development Update – Kemono.cr Alternative

We wanted to share a quick update regarding the Advanced Search Filters feature that we've been working on.

Our goal is to provide a much more powerful search experience, including filters for platform, creator, content type, date ranges, tags and more. However, during development, we discovered that implementing these features properly requires more extensive changes to our indexing and data organization systems than originally anticipated.

While basic filtering can be added relatively quickly, we want to ensure that searches remain fast and accurate even as the platform continues to grow. To achieve this, we're making improvements to how content metadata is stored, processed, and indexed behind the scenes. These changes will allow advanced filters to scale efficiently without causing slower search times or increased server load.

Rather than rushing out a limited implementation, we've decided to spend additional time refining the underlying systems so that the final result is faster, more reliable, and easier to expand in future updates.

Although this means the feature is taking longer than expected, the extra work will benefit not only Advanced Search Filters but also future improvements to search quality and overall platform performance.

We appreciate everyone's patience and continued support while we work through these changes. Progress is continuing every day, and we're excited to share more details as development moves forward.
