I miss voice mails. No one really leaves one anymore unless it's like. My doctors office or something all professional. My friends will just text me why they called or try later.

On my very first cell phone I got when I was 16, before smart phones so just a little Kyocera thing that handled making calls and doing texts using the number keypad to do so lol and before everyone had one, but they were starting to get more common. I woke up one morning from a voice mail left at like 2am, and it was this dude who said "Angie please take me back" which sounded like he'd been crying, and then he sang Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton in full and then hung up. It was glorious. I did text that number and tell him sorry, but he has the wrong number but I hope Angie takes him back, he has a lovely voice. But he never answered :( bummer. Always wondered if Angie ever got her message or if she ever took him back. Sadly, I lost that message after having it saved for years.
