【浜松】富士機工、ジェイテクト、タチエスの３社は、経営統合と事業再編について合意した。ジェイテクトが公開買い付け（ＴＯＢ）により富士機工を完全子会社化。その上で富士機工のシート事業をタチエスに譲渡する。１０月をめどに新体制をスタートする。
６月の株主総会で決議し、手続きが完了し次第、ジェイテクトによるＴＯＢを開始する。買収額は２６１億円を予定する。
富士機工はステアリングコラム事業、シート事業、パワートレイン事業が３本柱。ステアリングコラムはジェイテクトと連携を深め、車の電動化や自動運転など次世代技術の開発を強化する。シート事業は新会社、ＴＦメタルを設立し、タチエスに譲渡する。
