I agree but am at the point of trying to look at US politics as they are: we are in a post-taboo era. We don’t see many if any resignations like the kind of Marc Sanford anymore because votes are now only driven by interests.
His opponents should take note of what about his vision - and his story to a lesser extent - excited his followers and then check him with an alternate vision that refutes his and offers better solutions.
I'm sorry Joe, but it doesn't seem like you're going to have much of a home in the Democratic Party after all. If you're going to keep playing old school "you're disqualified!!!" cancel culture politics, then you can exit stage left with the rest of the left over corporatists. ty
@WalshFreedom I am a huge fan of you. But you got to be kidding me. I am a Proud Jewish Democrat. Are you saying we should back the Data Center Backing, Governor who ran a fully negative campaign and offered nothing beyond the liklihood of not finishing her term, or the GOP Stooge? Platner's policy is tons better. He has been authentic, honest, and has been forthcoming when these things come out. You said our party needs a big tent when you supported Mamdani who has been horrific in terms of Antisemitism while aligning with Hasan Piker, but you can't make room for an apologetic guy who is in a race we need to win to keep our Democracy?
So should inciting a riot on the capitol. So should being a 23 time felon. So should him cheating on all three of his wives. So should him being found guilty of sexual assault. So should using campaign funds as hush money to pay for a porn star’s silence. 🖕
Yeah Joe it should have been, but we have people like you to thank for driving anti-Trump hysteria to the point that the same people who have called us Nazis for decades are now happy to vote for an actual Nazi as long as it means their team gets more power. Take a bow.
