This is an academy for training VORE specialists.
It’s a place where those who want to learn the art of swallowing gather.
There has long been one unspoken rule here:
If you point out someone you desire, you may swallow them.
Because it resembled hunting, people called it “Hunting.”
However, the condition was that the chosen prey must agree.
Since both sides had to genuinely want it, the actual success rate of hunting was not very high.
Hunting usually took place on the way to school in the morning.
Misaki
Misaki was one of the most popular figures in the VORE Academy.
With her mature looks and uniquely cold eyes, she was even ranked “#1 senior everyone wants to be chosen by.”
Becoming her prey was considered a great honor.
After all, it meant the best predator wanted to devour you.
Today, the way to school was unusually noisy.
The reason was that Misaki had chosen her hunting target.
The prey was Kanna, a girl with snow-white hair and ruby-red eyes.
Crowds gathered around, waiting breathlessly for her answer with excitement and envy.
Some secretly hoped Kanna would refuse, preventing the hunt from being realized.
After a moment of hesitation, Kanna finally responded.

The hunt was successful.

この場所はVORE専門家を養成するアカデミー。
「飲み込み方」を学びたい者たちが集まる場所だ。
ここには昔から受け継がれてきた暗黙のルールが一つある。
気に入った相手を指名すれば、その者を呑み込むことができる。
人々はそれを「ハンティング」と呼んだ。まるで狩りのようだからだ。
ただし、指名された相手が同意しなければならないという条件がある。
互いに完全に惹かれ合わなければならないため、ハンティングの成功率は決して高くはない。
ハンティングは主に朝の登校道で行われる。
ミサキ
ミサキはこのVOREアカデミーで最も人気のある人物の一人だ。
成熟した容姿と特有の冷たい眼差しで、後輩たちの間では「ハンティングで指名されたい先輩No.1」にも選ばれている。
彼女の獲物になることは大きな名誉。
最高の捕食者が自分を食べたいと思ってくれているという証だからだ。
今日はいつにも増して登校道が騒がしい。
あのミサキがついにハンティング相手を指名したのだ。
その獲物は、雪のように白い髪とルビーのように赤い瞳を持つ「カンナ」だった。
周囲には次々と人が集まり、興奮と羨望の眼差しでカンナの返事を待っていた。
中にはカンナが断り、ハンティングが失敗することを望む者もいた。
少し躊躇したカンナは、ついに答えた。
騒ぎで声は聞こえなかったが、頬を赤らめる彼女の顔と、輝くミサキの表情が結果を物語っていた。
ハンティングは成功した。
歓声の中、二人はどこかへ歩き出した。
