Neither original mix was released by ABKCO. The original stereo mix was released by London, just tweaked between songs.

I think it is supposed to be the sound of roadies on stage after the band finished. It's not on the original album.

Was it added to the album at some point or was it added to the cd? And why? It seems really odd to add that after the fact.

I have no idea where the recording came from, but it is unique to the original ABKCO CD.

That's how I first heard it so I thought it was on the original.

The original ABKCO CD is very different from either LP mix.

You must love it to buy both versions! Does 4 disc set match 2cd track list?

It's on Sweet Summer Sun but it's not a Vault release technically. Not sure if you literally meant a Vault series or just a release in general..?

I was watching the Beatles +1 Blu Ray today, containing most of the Fab Four music videos, and wondered if the Stones ever released a DVD/Blu Ray of their music videos. Well, they didnt.
Anyone knows if they intend to release one? They have so many beautiful music videos, that a Blu Ray release of all of them is a no brainer.

    There's this music video collection:

The Rolling Stones - Undercover With The Rolling Stones

2 DVDs; 4 hours and 40 minutes. Unofficial release. Definitely not Blu Ray, picture quality varies.

Yes that I why I grabbed 2 massive volumes of 10 or so hours of Stones clips and footage spanning 1964-2013.
The title/s are along the lines of "50 Years On Video" and in pristine picture quality on two sets of double Pro Bluray-R discs.

I bought it and sold it back. It's just as squashed, sound wise, as the CD set (DR 6/7). Pretty bad. I was finally able to track down an original U.K. pressing of Jump Back on vinyl. It sounds much, much better.

What a shame, would have been nice to have. I was hoping it was ok, I just ordered GRRR Blu Ray audio for now. Would have been nice to have something on vinyl too.

The Jump Back comp has everything up through Steel Wheels. Not 100% definitive, but well worth the money, if you want something a bit more extensive than Rewind to cover that era. Well worth the asking price, IMO. But if you're looking for a complete career overview, sadly, there really isn't one on vinyl that's worth owning. But Jump Back comes closest.

  23. I really like GRRR BR. Great sounding comp.
