Vol.228 demonstrates how much can be said within a narrow set of parameters. Studio, clothing, monochrome — and within those three constraints, Sakuramakoto Kichijoji finds six distinct images, each with its own weight and atmosphere. Restraint, it turns out, is a productive condition for photography.
