Monochrome photography has a long tradition of elevating the ordinary, and Vol.207 carries that tradition forward. Sakuramakoto Kichijoji works within a self-imposed set of constraints — studio, clothing, waist to floor — and within those constraints finds compositions that feel both deliberate and natural.
