"opened his phone and then began manipulating it" what are you guys talking about. He was asked for his phone, immediately pulled it out of his pocket, and handed it over after pressing the power button. You are the most crooked people I have ever met
317
This is wild, watching the local police dept double down by self snitching is insane.
195
Arresting a man there to serve legal court papers right after calling the court house office to confirm that his papers were legitimate and that he was there legally? There is no defense you can make for such abuse of power and obstruction of justice.
124
“Opened his phone and began manipulating it” flat out lie on an offical police report
121
Be prepared to be investigated further and thoroughly for Fourth Amendment violations!
187
He's using his "Jesus loves you, but he loves me more" voice.
223
None of this footage or the overview makes this department look justified
190
This whole police department needs to be investigated and arrest should be made. Arresting someone for hanging up a go fund me poster is next level corrupt.
55
Who reported that Ben had Heroin.....I'll wait???
467
The entire police department needs to be completely cleansed.
91
1. Why was a traffic stop made for running a stop sign when the dash cam clearly shows the vehicle stopped. 2. What was the RAS or PC to detain the group for hours to search them and their belongings. 3. When executing the bogus search warrant, why were all on scene arrested when there was no evidence of any crime. 4. Why was the mobile phone forcefully obtained, no warrant and no crime. 5. Why have the police not investigated the other party for theft when presented with evidence. There's plenty more but let's start there
448
If the American Fork Police Department had done their job correctly, they would have nothing to hide or explain.
60
"The package was later determined to contain rubber ducks" 🤣
217
I'm shocked that you guys didn't redact all the audio on this video too
400
You couldn't have handled this any worse. As an attorney, I can tell you that the taxpayers of your town will ultimately be paying a very substantial settlement to Ben. This video does nothing to help your position and only reinforces the criticism being directed at you. Frankly, that criticism is well deserved.
171
The chief has to be fired for allowing this kind of corruption within his department!. The entire police department has to be investigated! Corruption at it finest
78
Also, the fact that you swatted Ben for "Stolen Legos" and found zero stolen legos is laughable.
190
The BALLS you guys have stating you are providing full body cam videos and then releasing them with almost all the audio redacted and your only source of truth is a man standing behind a podium. My favorite part is the body cam footage you showed in the actual youtube clip is the EXACT same body cam footage that Ben already provided in his.
289
Your department is actively being investigated by the FBI as well as Law Eagle, you're cooked bro
140
“Alleged” he literally won 10 lawsuits…
318
You pulled him over for not stopping at a stop sign but in the video he came to a COMPLETE stop, not even a rolling stop. Pathetic.
105
bold choice to leave comments on for this video 🤣
518
I also hear Ben is getting top notch lawyers pro bono so good luck 😂
74
Watching an officer twist a peaceful man’s arm to the extreme, was exceptionally disgraceful and the public will be certain to keep this grotesque behavior, not forgotten until the officer perpetrating such a wild abuse of power unnecessarily held accountable
58
I can't wait until Ben teams up with Afroman to release a track about how they're bricking and minifiging this guy's wife.
21
Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff is a graduate of Brigham Young University. Joshua Johnson and Brandon Best are, by public record and documented account, members of the LDS community. When Reckless Ben's team, following the pattern of obstruction by local law enforcement, looked into the individual officers involved in these incidents, they found that multiple officers were also BYU alumni.
28
The sign was on public property. And is protected under the 1st amendment.
42
This police department needs to be investigated. Blatant corruption at its finest.
282
funny how you say ben was stalking him but by the definitions you gave your officers where stalking and harassing Ben
106
So all of a sudden, the reason for the harassment of Ben is because he was harassing this man — weren’t your cops on video saying we don’t know what to get them for trying to make something up 😂
61
Ben did nothing actually illegal but they defended a man that actually did something illegal. The corruption in this department is so blatant. Just stop now because this looks really really bad for yourselves.
92
Serving court documents is a legally protected act. You’d think Officer Shitforbrains would know that
243
Let me guess: you investigated yourselves and found no wrongdoing.
637
This is your department’s defense? Lawyers are practically drooling over how clearly Ben’s (and his friends’) rights were violated on your body cams. You also got caught red-handed lying about the audio you edited, as another officer’s recording exposed what you tried to cut out. I’m sick of crooked cops. Thankfully, this case is getting a lot of attention, which means there’s a good chance you won’t be able to hide from a proper investigation into the laws you broke and the rights you trampled on.
79
YOU MADE SURE TO REDACT THEM FROM ALL CAMERA ANGLES THIS TIME!?!?!?
98
"glossy eyes", "K9 alert", "iding passengers", "receives information from a resident", "hears about stolen legos", SO MANY REDS FLAGS IN THIS SPEECH.
13
Damn he’s doing a worse job at lying then the CEO & COO Bricks & Minifigs
118
You: "Initiated a stop for not stopping at a stop sign" The video: Stops at stop sign. You: "an individual identified himself as Ben." The video: "Which one of you is Ben? How you liking Utah Ben? We do stuff differently here Ben, you get what I'm sayin. We dont play around."
49
Every time the body cam footage contradicts the actual events, this spokesperson falls back on what was written in the officer's report. He keeps repeating those claims to distort the story and make Ben look worse — even though the evidence clearly shows otherwise.
52
A chief trying to cover up for his department, imagine that. Talking in a Sacrament meeting voice, does not validate what you are trying to do. The K9 alerted to the car because the handler directed the dog to do so. That's why the police did the walk of shame when No Drugs Were Found. Your officers were unprofessional and constantly fishing for a reason to arrest. Their biased attitudes and actions were clear. Interesting that in the middle of this a detective from your department who made an unlawful traffic stop last week called the man to apologize. Didn't believe that one either.
