Selling an FDCARD (Counterparty NFT) today — does the 2022 price still mean anything?
Selling an FDCARD (Counterparty NFT) today — does the 2022 price still mean anything?

Hi everyone,

I own an FDCARD (Spells of Genesis) NFT, currently held in Casa Tookan. I understand this is a Counterparty (Bitcoin-based) NFT, not Ethereum-native.

While researching, I found that the official Spells of Genesis documentation mentions an FDCARD sale on January 13, 2022 for $363,809.60. That obviously caught my attention — but I’m also aware that markets change a lot.

So I’d really like to ask people with direct experience or good market insight: • Does that 2022 sale still have any relevance for today’s market? • In realistic terms, is anything even remotely close to that price achievable today, or was that a very specific, one-off collector sale? • How do collectors currently value FDCARD — more as a historical artifact, or as a liquid NFT? • Are there recent sales or offers that could be used as a more accurate reference point?

I’m not assuming it’s worth that amount now — I’m just trying to understand how the market currently thinks about FDCARD, and whether those historic prices still anchor expectations at all.

Any honest input (even “no, not anymore”) is very welcome. Thanks in advance 🙏
