Muslim Population in Oceania: 1950 – 2020

Abstract—The purpose of this manuscript is to present are liable estimate of the Muslim population and its percentage in each country in Oceania from 1950 till 2020. This data is summarized to be a reference for other studies and discussions related to the Muslim population. The presented data show that the percentage of World Muslim population with respect to the total World population has increased steadily from 17%in 1950 to 26% by 2020. While the total Oceania population increased from 13 million in 1950 to 41 million by 2020, the percentage of Muslims in Oceania increased from 0.2% in 1950to 1.3% by 2020.
