I don’t understand you people. Demanding I take money. Demanding people give me money. I’m not entitled to money. I’m not entitled to anything. If I rot on the street then that’s a perfectly acceptable outcome. You all get so outraged… and yet the person you’re “fighting” for is telling you you’re wrong. The world doesn’t owe me anything. It doesn’t owe you anything either. People die all the time. People suffer. Some more than others. I try to help, but I don’t feel genuine anger when nothing happens. I understand that that’s the way the world works. You can try, but you can’t guarantee. I don’t like you people constantly kissing my ass and spamming me with congratulations. Can’t you see it doesn’t mean anything? I’m just somebody who makes videos. Enjoy my content. Enjoy my personality. But don’t get it mixed up. I’m not exempt from the rule. And that rule, is suffering and death.

“Me rotting out on the streets would be a perfectly acceptable outcome” Great. Now say that about someone else. Exactly.
22
You rotting on the street is not an acceptable outcome. Period. We love you.

But the problem is if we all adapted that mindset we'd be an even more antagonistic society to anyone in need. People shouldn't need "legitimate reasons" to help eachother, we want to help because it's in our nature to be pro-social. I don't think you realize you're arguing an anti-social stance on a social platform. You're also constructing a situation where there's no way you can "win" so you're really shooting yourself in the foot here and its hard to sit back and watch you do it.

I WAS HOMLESS ON THE STREET WITH BRAIN DAMAGE strangers heleped me, 2 workmen missed a day's pay to stay with me while an ambulance arrived as I was slipping into a diabetic coma, many others helped me. I got off the street and got my life back on track. ITS WHAT HUMANS DO FOR EACH OTHER - HECK ITS WHAT NEANDERTHALS DID FOR EACH OTHER

I think the natural human reaction to seeing suffering in another is to want to help them. And I think some people feel frustrated when they cannot do that. I understand, however, that this may come across as disingenuous. I think you spoke not too long ago in a video detailing how several people were extremely rude to you just for charging your phone. It's my opinion that modern society has conditioned us to suppress those natural responses. All this to say that people are trying to help because they made the choice to do so. Whether you deserve it or not I don't think is a part of most people's thought process. In fact, I think it first manifests as a feeling. A feeling to help someone that is only rationalized later as, "Well, I gave them food/money because I had extra/they deserved it." I see homeless people every day in my city and I always feel a tinge of empathy, every time. I'm finally in a position now where I can give a couple cans of food to some folks I happen across on my drive home from classes. I cannot give to all of them, and no single one of them deserves my soup more than any other. But I know it matters and makes a difference for those I am able to reach. I bring that up to offer my perspective on suffering and death being the only rule. Firstly, for sure: Life is pain. And the sad thing is that if we only obeyed that natural feeling to help others more, the world probably would be a little better. Some people act in spite of this. And they sow just a little bit of good will. All that to say that all people should help each other. If every person I gave soup to turned it down on the basis of not deserving it anymore than any other person, no one would be helped at all, and suffering no longer is a rule but an inevitability. That's why it is my, and I think many other's, opinion that it's okay for you to accept help. Any good will is better than no good will. And the best part? You have the choice to pay it back to the world and do the same for others.

That's called self sabotage 😔💖

Dude, thats called basic human kindness. It’s no different than someone wanting to give money to homeless people in real life. Not to mention people donate creators they like all the time regardless of their living situation. Accepting money is not entitlement. Rotting on the street is NOT an acceptable outcome for anybody. Your life is worth more than any amount of money. Accepting help is a strength.

You don't have to take money if you don't want it, we just all genuinely want to help because we care about other people and you.

I don’t think most people are demanding you take money because they believe you’re entitled to it. I think they’re reacting emotionally to seeing someone they care about struggling, and sometimes that emotion comes out messy or loud. Having said that, you’re right. The world doesn’t owe anyone anything. Suffering and death aren’t exemptions that skip certain people. But at the same time. I do think caring about someone isn’t the same as believing they’re exempt from reality. It’s just people responding to connection. I can understand why constant praise or urgency might feel hollow or overwhelming. Being put on a pedestal can feel dehumanizing. It can start to feel like people are projecting something onto you instead of actually seeing you and just enjoying what you make for it's own sake. At the same time, I don’t think most people are trying to erase your autonomy or argue with your philosophy. They’re just uncomfortable with the idea of someone they enjoy watching being in pain, and they don’t know what to do with that discomfort. You don’t owe anyone anything. And no one is entitled to save you. But people caring isn’t the same thing as believing you’re above the rule. Imo it’s just a human response. And for what it’s worth, it makes sense that you’d feel frustrated or alienated by the intensity of it all. Going viral, being flooded with attention, having strangers project onto you is very disorienting. It’s reasonable to want to reclaim your humanity and say, “I’m not special. I’m not above anything.” That doesn’t make you ungrateful. Whatever you decide to accept or refuse, I hope it’s something that feels aligned with you rather than something forced by outrage, praise, or pressure. Your feelings about this are valid, even if not everyone understands them.

They love you mate, they hate you have to go through this. Just because people wanna give you money doesn't mean they owe it to you...they just wanna be nice is all! Kindness ain't the same as debt. You can keep your rule of suffering and still have people be kind to you! Stay safe, yeah?
173
I could only dream of being in a position where strangers genuinely want to help me, especially financially. Money may not buy happiness, but it certainly would alleviate the feeling of dread that most people experience when it comes to simply living day to day, wondering if their dollar can stretch far enough until their next payday. This is how you start to feel when you work a 9-5 job, 5-6 days a week, and still struggle to make ends meet. No one deserves to live like this, and it hurts my soul knowing so many of us do.
24
They see a downtrodden human being suffering. Its basic empathy.
13
It’s not a perfectly acceptable outcome for anyone to rot on the street. A well-functioning and equitable society would not allow that to happen. But it does, because we live in an evil world.
3
For me, I don't see anyone rotting on the street is not an acceptable outcome for but I also wouldn't insist on giving anything they don't want to. It's a totally fair choice to reject those gifts and should be respected.

what a jackass

Why are we like this? Why do we take suffering so gladly, and yet resist to receive affection at every turn?
2
Helping others is an evolutionarily advantageous trait
15
Do you get... Upset when people offer you money? I don't see the issue with people wanting to help you and your situation
19
You are also us "People" . No one is entitled to anything in this life just as you said but i would also like to add that when "us people" take an interest in particular individuals such as youself they can't help but project they're own ideals and past experiences onto you. There in which why what you surmise as "fighthing" is just an amalgam of "People" trying to solve a problem in which you see there being none, it all boils down to perspective.
2
There's no tragedy in nature but hypocrisy in humans
2
it’s bc they want to help you. they don’t want to see you “rot”
Don't worry, I'm not offering a penny. You can't help a person who doesn't want to help themselves. But speaking from experience: conceit costs less with a roof over your head. If you prefer not to have one, it's certainly your choice, but don't think for a minute your suffering authenticates you. That's just fetishism. You are a lost child, in some ways precocious, horribly confused in others. Far too naive for a cynic. If you want anything better for yourself, take the chances you can get. Take solace in how you can always labor at having a worse life the next day. That's the easiest thing.
4
I obviously can't speak for everyone, but I understand that words are just words and since I'm not there in person to offer aid, the only way I know of to help people in your situation is to give money. I am the kind of person where when I see someone having a hard time in life, my first instinct is to offer whatever kind of help I can to that person. I think everyone should be this way. You yourself have stated on this channel multiple times that people deserve kindness and decency and help when they need it. Well you're people too fam
7
Well... let's say it is snowing outside and a person is driving down the road in their car and they have 10 jackets in the back seat. If they see a person standing in the cold shivering with no jacket on there is an aspect of human nature that wants to help the person with no jacket by giving one of the many jackets they have in the back seat. You seem like a sweet person, you seem like a lovable person. If you feel beaten down by life (at the moment) you may not even feel like people are perceiving you in that way but they are. If people are offering you money the best thing would be to say "thank you very much, money is a helpful thing. It buys food and other needful things. I appreciate that and will take it!" If you have no desire to do that that's perfectly FINE but it's not wrong for someone to wish well being for you by wanting to give you a little of the money that they can afford to give you. I am saying this from a place of wishing you nothing but well being and LOVE.

We're all just faceless masses on the internet. Ive only seen a miniscule fraction of your journey and you know none of mine. We're strangers. We all survive because complete strangers feed us. We're at the mercy of others. You don't need to keep the money. You could use it to feed others. Kindness breeds kindness. Accept what kindness you can in any form and use it to create more. Ive listened to the void most of my life. I want nothing more than to find meaning beyond my own restless thoughts. To help someone and not let my depression win. Ive yet to sustain that warmth but im trying.

philosophy can help understand why people are so fking stupid like this. you're experiencing a loss of subjectivity, or being-for-others, as jp sartre called it. it derives from people doing things because they see (perceive) you and want to combat the emotions THEY feel inside (ie sympathy/empathy) because it makes THEM uncomfortable. you become an object to them, basically, a denial of possibilities and self-identity through a bad faith (thinking that you can know what another persons reality is like) reconstruction. "i see homeless people and i want to help them but i cant help them all", "i wish i could help you", "it hurts my soul" they feel shame because they may have what you don't and think that you SHOULD want that too and beg/hope you will accept it so YOU aren't an oddity to them anymore, breaking their perfect concept of THEIR life. if you're interested in more about it, you can check out his book 'jean-paul sartre - being and nothingness' at a library or any article/video essay/thefuckever online really. as a counter to it, people should learn to give pure attention to the world and not objectify suffering by trying to fix it or ignoring it. just know it exists and act within that as you see fit. set aside your egos, and just be quiet and acknowledge others existence without willful effort.

Yes, the people in this world are really painful. Thats why i talk only to god who dont betray me or stab me from the back.

I mean, if you want to die, there's easier and more immediate ways of doing it.

"If I rot on the street then that’s a perfectly acceptable outcome." No... Would you say that about someone else? Then please don't say it about yourself either. :( I don't care what anyone says, every human life is sacred and deserves to be treasured. Life was so unfair to you. I am sorry if you felt pressured to accept donations and stuff, and you have right to not accept them. Just please don't say self-depricating things like that. We want you and people like you safe and getting the help they need. Don't let yourself be defined by how the people treated you. We love you Yamu and don't want to see you or others like you suffer. I hope you will give yourself some grace and realize you are valuable as a person. We are here for you. ❤

You said you want to experience every part of life, having the money is the way to do that
3
It's highly respectable that you don't want to be given a free ride in life. I believe more people should think like you on that. You're are absolutely right when you say that no one is entitled to money or anything for that matter. A lot of people have tried to give me a free ride in life too with money & advantages but I always refused. I too think like you on that. I want to deserve my rewards. I want to work for them & be proud of what I've accomplished. But more than that, I'm sick & tired of living in a world where everyone around me expect to be given a handout in life & complain when they don't have it. Because of that, life gets so corrupt & any normal way of living is almost no longer existent. But, I will tell you this. No one does anything without help. A lot of people have opened doors for me in life & I've worked hard to try & open doors for other people I care about too, it doesn't make me any less of a decent person to walk through. Now where I agree with you is with the easy path & when people give you everything. That like I said, I don't like. Yes we all die & yes we all suffer at some point in our lives & yes some more than others. You're definitely right. You're not wrong on this. Still, take what I'm going to say how you want, but seeing the world on a ''realistic'' manner doesn't mean having to always see it in a negative way. It's not because it's true, that it needs to be said or thought about. Life is so much better when you focus your mind on positive stuff. Realistic stuff too yes, but positive part of reality. The rest, don't think it's not true, just don't think about it when it's not necessary. A lot of people do the opposite & I hate it. In my life I've met a lot of people who when everything is wrong try to escape in fantasies & when everything is right complain about everything that could happen. When you need to be serious & realistic then yes be it, but when it's no necessary, just leave all that bullshit the fuck out of your life. What's the point of focusing on something you have no control on the moment anyway? I'm tired of hearing & seeing people say ''Well, in a better world maybe.'' WTF do you mean in a better world? Why not now? Why not in this fucking world? The reason our world is fucked is because when people should act they don't & when they don't need to they act all hysterical not minding their own business. I've seen some people in the comment say: ''Yeah but it's human nature to want to help people.'' F*** off! By saying this they make you seem like a person in need desperate for help. Even if it's true sometimes because anyway everyone need help in life, making it worse by being seen as a vulnerable person who can't succeed on it's own is disgusting. How about making you feel normal instead by acting like any other person with you & why not give you the means for you to control your life instead of be given a free ride?
2
I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU Often people who have had immense trauma become institutionalised to it and they fear happiness or help. Their trust in the past has been betrayed and their hopes dashed. THEY would rather be in control of their misery than have others in control of their happiness. I'm talking about my ex GF who was trafficked at 16 and could not accept being happy; she would sabotage any happiness she ever got.
3
I understand you don't want other people's money, but it's hard to see you reject it when you can't walk without a cane.
21
tale the money and repay it later when you get wealthy even with more money back like a bank
3
Let’s all remember that life is a cycle of entropy
1
Nah you are so right about this. I need this. Thank you.
It’s okay to receive help if you absolutely need it, you can deny the money you’re receiving but no one should suffer alone. Stay safe
I agree with you. I carry the belief that we can only have momentary distractions in this life. We don't have to compromise with anything if we don't want to, as long as we are aware of the consequences. But if everything is suffering, then there isn't much to fear. We already know suffering. Just be yourself, and live like you want to.

I understand your emotions. I heard similar words from my friend, who have mental ilnies problems and lives now in the hostel. And I understand your frustration about world very much. As a person, who lives in Russia and yet not gone insane dispite of propaganda. I saw very much suffering, I felt that suffering of others. I saw so much corpses, and deaths... I went thgrouh some shit... So I understand your frustration... And I learned, that you must a bit crazy in a sense that you dispite every do your small thing. We all do small things and it wil change the world, as drops of water destroys rock. And wanted to say: you are good person. If ypu writing this, you are good person
