Softball rosters set for this year’s North-South All-Star game

Plenty of players who competed in last week’s AHSAA state softball tournament in Oxford are among those selected for the 2026 North-South All-Star Game.

The AHSAA announced the two 18-member rosters for the game, which is comprised of rising seniors. All-star week is set for July 20-24 in Montgomery.

Leading the North team will be Springville coach John Taruc and Boaz coach Chad Hall, with Bob Jones’ Kent Chambers serving as the administrative coach.

The South will be coached by Satsuma’s Lauren Stewart and Horseshoe Bend’s Hagen Whiteard with Elba’s Susan Barnes as administrative coach.
