she has very intense social anxiety and responds to her discomfort with other people by becoming annoyed and angry or dismissive towards them (in a pretty assholish way, yeah). it’s worse here because the situation is extremely upsetting and she’s being faced with the prospect of having to hang out with a small group of people she’s already decided she doesn’t like forever, so all of her immediate anger and fear towards this is being directed at the people themselves in very shitty ways. Volatile person in a volatile situation.

#again shes basically like. frank grimes #like i said in the original tags had she not died it would have mellowed out into quiet withdrawal as she got to know people #which is closer to her day to day Work Personality #(i think any given character dying wouldn't be good for the others regardless. like it would not be good if jax died)

my digital circus oc, Pico, a wooden lizard with a very volatile sort of socially anxiety that she lets ruin her relationships before they really get started. She never managed to reach a baseline level of adjustment to the circus and abstracted after 17 days.
