A memorial tree was planted in memory of Rod Crocker. Plant a Tree

Rod and his wife, Judie, opened their home to my family when I was young. We didn’t have much, but they welcomed us in and loved us like their own. I have fond memories of spending time with their children and will always consider them part of my extended family. Rod left an incredible legacy of love—for his community, his family, for those in need, and most of all, for Jesus.

My memories of Rod and the Crocker family are deeply cherished.

Rod is a compassionate and creative man. He is deeply caring for his family and the community around him. I remember him just this way; love in action.

The sentiment of 1 Thes. 2: 19 seems to fit Rod, “What is our (Rod’s)…joy…before the Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you (family and friends). Rod’s designs will be on earth for some years, but his family and friends who were touched by his God infused love will be with him in eternity.

Jesus said of Lazarus, he is not dead as it would see...

Our dear and family friend for the last 43 year. He was one of my best friends in life. We share a lot of time discussing life and praising God for his faithfulness.

God promise is true for Rod and us:

“ Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so , would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come back and take you to be with me t...

My condolences to the family.

I will miss Rod dearly. I have a fond memory of Rod. Shortly after I became a Christian and in the early years of CLA, we were paired up to go door-to-door in the neighbourhood around the church. We would walk and talk and I'd listen to him as he gently shared with the residents. On our walk I recall him telling me the importance of memorizing Scripture. I have always appreciated his love of the Lord, his love of people, his wisdom, and compassion for the homeles...

To Mark, Joel, Rachel, Cherie, Caleb, Hannah and Families.
As time has passed, and our parents have left the earth, we are all blessed with what they left behind. From Judie to Al, from Ginny to Dawn and now to Rod. They gave us years and years of Love, laughter, friendship and a bond that has no limits. From our first bus ride to church, in the presence of Rod and Eli, to hide and seek, to cabin weekends to every Sunday dinner.
I will hold dear to my heart.
The laughter and silliness that fille...

Both Rod and Judie were the primary catalyst, whom the Lord used to anchor my Christian faith in the early years as a young Christian. They took me under their wing and made me a vital part of their home and family. Their testimony can quickly be summed-up in John 13:35. This Christian couple treated all who graced their path with honor, grace and respect throughout their lives. It was just how Rod and his wife, Judie treated folks. And it continued on with his second wife, Dawn in 1995 as well.

Rod, Dawn, Caleb and Hannah were our dear friends and neighbours for many years. Our kids grew up together

Rod was such a compassionate and giving person who would help any in need. We were so fortunate to have met the Crockers and have so many fond memories of special moments with them. I always enjoyed Rod’s company, his amiable personality and devotion to his family. I truly admired him. Thinking of you Caleb, Hannah, Kelly and family
