This is a gallery of videos related to the history of Cartoon Network's "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy", "Evil Con Carne", and "Underfist" collected by the creator of these shows-- Maxwell Atoms!
These videos are the resting place of Maxwell Atoms' cancelled "Dead Meat" project. The movie may have been destroyed in the apocalypse, but the art lives on!

It's that time of the week again! In this exciting episode of "Billy & Mandy vs. The Entertainment Industry", I talk to storyboard artist Brett Varon and, uh, pick his brain about being a storyboard artist on Billy & Mandy (and other shows), and his transition from storyboard artist to director. This one features a dog instead of cats. And stereo sound! It's downright almost modern. Cheggitout! https://youtu.be/JT91oddNvxY

Hey nerds! Haha. You looked. First off, thank you all for the looking and the clicking and the typing and all of it. After seven years of slow burn (mostly due to my college film), you guys have pushed me over the edge and I'm now a YouTube partner! Now I can put commercials in stuff! Just what everyone wanted! Seriously, though, this is probably a bit of a life saver, so I do appreciate it! Second, as many of you noticed, I did NOT get to the coloring stage on the commissions I started on Thursday night. It's going to be a busy week, so I'm hoping to finish those up starting at 9:00 pm (Central)/2:00 am (UTC) with a bonus session of "Unalivestream". That's tomorrow! Short notice, but hopefully I'll see you there! Tuesday I've got storyboard artist Brett Varon from Billy & Mandy talking about what it was like to work on the show, and his favorite parts of the process. Thursday is yet another Unalivestream... only this time it's digital.

I hope you'll join me this evening at 5pm Central as I curse modern technology during my first "Maxwell Atoms Unalivestream"! Actually, hopefully the cursing will be kept to a minimum, as I've tested the pants off this thing. For this "all analog" drawing stream, I had to use two webcams, a mic, and background audio from a copyright-free YouTube playlist. But just now it was all functioning. Fingers crossed that it'll all still be functioning in four or five hours. As a byproduct of the way I've set things up, I can't listen to the same music that'll be playing on the stream. Instead I'll be listening to maybe Lazerhawk or Nightstalker or something on my phone. On that tip... would y'all prefer to listen to your own music? Is setting up music for the stream a mistake? I guess I'm just afraid of dead space...

Episode 2 of "Billy & Mandy vs. The Entertainment Industry" just dropped like a club on a brontosaurus' head! In this episode, I talk to "Longhair and Doubledome" creator Gav Gnatovich about what it was like to make a pilot for Cartoon Network's Big Pick outside of the studio! The audio is still a bit primitive, but we're evolving! Next week we've got a four year time jump to... right now! We'll be talking to storyboard artists for a few episodes. Would you rather see several storyboard artists back-to-back, or some other folks thrown in to mix it up? Or thrown up to mix it in? 🤔

I am indeed doing some live-stream drawing sessions on Thursday evenings, but not this Thursday (4/30), so don't wait up! I won't be home tomorrow, and I still need to do a test stream before I commit. And I ain't gonna make y'all watch that! First stream is the following week (5/7). Knowing is 3/16ths of the battle!

It is upon us! If you've ever wondered how Billy & Mandy ended up getting a pilot, why Robot Jones' voice changed, or why Numbuh 3 won't marry a fly, this is your moment!
