Out of absolute boredom and the need to feel something instead of learning a new skill I’ve charged myself to complete the Lvl 99 Destiny Islands Challenge. Almost 10 hours in and I’ve reached lvl 33.I’ve got about 242 hours to go.

Please tell me you picked Midnight and Dream Shield
What did you do.
Dream Shield + Dusk is just the most efficient route but it probably isn't by a lot anyways. You are at enough of a level to get Tech Boost regardless of your choice I think, but Dream Shield gives you Tech Boost at level 12
And Dusk takes 878,291 total EXP for level 100
Midday takes 949,815 total EXP
Dawn takes 984,856 total EXP

This already happened before in GameFAQs during the wait for KH3. Some dude did it on the non FM KH1.
I don’t know if they change it but if I remember correctly, kingdom hearts 1 should be level 100 not level 99 they didn’t start doing that until kingdom hearts 2

You could fast forward to the end of a YouTube video of some content creator getting paid to do this and feel the same thrill rather than wasting 100s of hours of your own time for a meaningless achievement but what the hell do I know.

I tried, got to about level 22 before I got too bored to keep going and continued the story. I have a play through on level 72 and am trying to level him all the way up and get some more synthesis recipes but ugh it is boring since it's post game. I hate synthesis in KH1.5 final because most of the ingredients never show up. My recipe list is not very big because the stuff needed to synthesis the objects available just never get dropped.
I've seen all kinds of challenge runs on a variety of games and difficulties (be they by skill or resilience, like in this case lol)

It's not really a challenge, just a waste of time. The only challenge is if to see if you're willing to waste that much time.
I'm doing something similar on FF7, just not as early as other people have done it. I'm into the second reactor with the 3 main characters. Close to level 30 so far.
Are the stats really that low at lvl 33 without equipment?
I still remember when the first person ever did this. Absolutely insane for anyone to do, but I respect it lol
