Forum: forums Subject: Please can you kindly fix some of my items.

I need some help please.

Some of my items archive.org/details/BBCRadio1, archive.org/details/BBCRadio2, archive.org/details/BBCRadio3, archive.org/details/BBCSounds and archive.org/details/BBCSound are not working and are not showing up.

Please can you kindly fix these items.

This user needs help restoring the items or an explanation for the cause of the items removal.

As with many uploaders here, they face an unexplained loss of a large amount of data for no obvious reasons and only have the text below to show for it.

Items may be taken down for various reasons, including by decision of the uploader or due to a violation of our Terms of Use.'

Content originating with the BBC (a United Kingdom Broadcaster) is unlikely to be free from copyright concerns, and from my viewpoint here in the United Kingdom, it doesn't surprise me that such items would be removed en-masse.

Asking for materials which may still be (or suspected to still be in copyright) when it was removed, is not going to generate any useful response from IA. Contributors should ideally refocus on materials can show are 'freely' licensed or for which copyright have expired. Material related to Radio 1 is unlikely to be in either of those categories.
