I’ve recently picked my hacked Vita up again, and have been messing around with it as an emulation handheld (if anyone knows a good snes emulator which can deal with zipped roms) please let me know).

I’ve been looking into vita backups and have stumbled across pkgj. Does this download direct from Sony? Is this legit? As I understand these files are freely downloadable from Sony, it’s the kernel plugin on the vita that makes them playable?

Are there any other precautions I should take while using this?
