USC doctoral student 
Weng Sizhe (翁思哲) has been linked to rape-focused Telegram channel “德国老司机驾校” (“Fahrschule für Experten in Deutschland” in German), the core members of which are Chinese PhD / grad / undergrad students or professionals mostly in Germany — all core members are rapists who used drugs on their victims and then recorded their criminal acts. There’re thousands of Chinese members — both inside and outside China — in the group.
Zou Zhenhao (邹振浩) and Xu Chao, both convicted rapists in the UK, are said to be members of the group.
Most of the core members of the group have been arrested and sentenced in Germany: Zhang Dapeng (张大鹏; graduate from Harbin Institute of Technology; sentenced to 14 years in jail), Jiang Zhongyi (蒋中懿; master student in robotics at Technical University of Munich; sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in jail), Zhou Tong (周同; mechanical engineering undergraduate; sentenced to 5 years and 9 months in jail), Shao Zhiting (邵之霆; PhD student in Germany; master’s degree in oncology from Peking University; to be sentenced in mid-May), and Xu Xukaiyuan (许徐开元; committed suicide after arrest).
Another core member is based in the Netherlands.
