GLITCH
GLITCH 3 weeks ago
Hey all, Kevin here. Please read.

I like how he’s responding honestly and not defensively. I genuinely wish more CEOs did the same

We must all agree to not give any spoilers
55K
Guys as a fandom, we need to PROTECT our fellow fans who couldn't get theater tickets, NO SPOILERS FOR THOSE TWO WEEKS.

Markiplier walked, so GLITCH could run
41K
I swear glitch handles controversy so well

after reading this, the situation makes a whole lot more sense. theaters can be really hard to work with sometimes and im just glad its 2 weeks and not a month
23K
It’s actually crazy that theaters wanted it to be a minimum of a month. It must’ve been really hard for you to get that down to what’s possible. Massive respect to you.
75K
I think people, including me, forget that the standard is at least a month if not longer between theaters and full release. Respect to that, sucks that it had to be this way
20K
Yea that's valid, the fact that an indie animation is even going to be in theatres worldwide in the first place is amazing, btw I hope it comes to theatres in Australia.
9.8K
So much respect to the entire team for what you’re doing for indie animation, can’t wait for the last act
9.8K
The absolute terror that went through my body seeing a white text document posted by glitch with a ever so slightly noticeable “amazing digital circus” at the top of the image 😭 im so glad its just about the theater stuff.
3.9K
My respects to the entire glitch team for making such great series I'll go to the theaters to see this emotional ending
5.2K
This is why I love Glitch so much. They actually are able to just go out and explain everything and I’m happy that they cleared everything up. Edit: Okay what actually happened overnight? I had never had this many people actually agree with me. 😅
29K
Okay, massive respect to Glitch for actually fully acknowledging these issues and thoroughly explaining their decisions. It's so refreshing to see an organization this big and influential being so transparent about these things!
2.9K
Markiplier opening the door for traditional acting in theaters, dropout creating physical media / getting on cable, and now you guys for indie animation??? This is a good fucking era
1.1K
Wait..so..name is kevin?is the kinger?
2
This is a huge milestone for indie animation. Instead of getting mad at it being a few weeks before the YT/Netflix release, let’s all celebrate this massive step for independent creators all around the world. This is huge! And remember- please don’t spoil anything when the time comes to everyone seeing the finale in theaters!
1.6K
i think this makes sense because kevin saying "it will change the entire industry on how they view indie animation" this is literally a parallel on how the entire industry view 3d animation when toy story came out in the 90s, this is the reason why indie animations like bfdi headed to theaters and some eventually becoming tv series like hazbin hotel, because they are gonna change the animation industry and prove that indie animation can also be a genre too

Not to mention the voiceactors (who are individual creators too, mind you) for different regions will have the cinematic release on their portfolio, which gives them a MAJOR BOOST to their career in their regions. And with few weeks of hype, the studios will have alot of time to pick out their faves
