LYNDON — The Lyndon Electric Department will not pursue a rate increase this year after all, reversing earlier plans to seek a small hike.

The decision follows a recommendation from the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority, a consortium of 11 municipally owned utilities that includes Lyndon Electric.
