Agree the spread seems very co-ordinated

the sudden spread of nazbol and other national "socialist" ideologies as a way to capture disilusioned communists

Barbarian6106

Nazbol suddenly appeared in 2018 very suspicious

Barbarian6108

nazbols as a way to capture disillusioned commuinsts doesnt sound right to me, i have never seen a non-larping nazbol. are there any nazbol spaces?

also blackpill is just psychological warfare on lonely men

Barbarian6110

>>6088 (OP) the femboy shit is so real. its genuinely evil and pedophilic and its exactly the type of shit that the 'A would spread among trannies to get them to doubt themselves and to prostitute themselves.

>>6104
i kinda disagree. i dont think there is a particular rise in ns shit and if there is, they certainly arent capturing disillusioned communists lol. the real psyop is like all the leftoids we see these days. though i will say that it is idiotic to call everything a psyop and its kinda mloid brainrot but still - aint no way some shit like the PSL or ACP arent honeypots. though again people are after just retarded and they say and believe stupid shit because they are stupid and retarded.

i also think that most of the current "queer" movements and the shit surrounding all of that is definitely a psyop or if it isnt its probably there just to groom people, seeing how normal it is for sex pests and perverts (crossies, femboys, etc) to be in those communities.

lessons of lifestylist praxis
lessons of lifestylist praxisBarbarian6101[Reply]

when i was a teenager, around the same time i got into hardcore punk and ska, i downloaded this .pdf of a book by the anarchist collective crimethinc, entitled "recipes for disaster" https://archive.org/details/crimethinc-recipes-for-disaster and it changed my life forever. not because the anarchism stuck, or because i went on to become a crustpunk drifter, alhamduli-marx, but because it gave me the confidence to go out and become reasonably good at tagging, wheatpasting, and dumpstering. on their own, its hard to deny that these are useful skills, and the book is full of these and more. i cannot vouch for the accuracy of all these recipes (a bunch of anarchists wrote it, did you expect julia child?) but theyre decent enough.

so read this damn thing, you lazy fucks, firstly because if you intend on being a communist in a period of class repression then you might actually need a skill or two beside reading theory and eating italian cuisine, but secondly because you may find some tasty anarchist gems to laugh at inside.

is retrofuturism the future of the marxism?
is retrofuturism the future of the marxism?Barbarian6063[Reply]

every ideology has its own associated aesthetic, classical fascism has futurism, ML has constructivism, but what do we have? a political movement that is solely based on the intelectual side of the human psyche while ignoring the side of it that is simply drawn to good art and emotion is doomed to fail.

Barbarian6079>>6089

I thought we were the ones with constructivism! MLs have 'socialist realism'

Barbarian6089

>>6079
constructivism is just as much for us as it is for trots, who also love it. i agree with using constructivism but i also think it wont do to just replicate the images of the past. we gotta innovate in art too

Barbarian6092

i was thinking of making a thread dedicated to discussion of leftcom aesthetics,

sadly aesthetics pulls more people in the reason so it is something we should think about

Barbarian6100

>retrofuturism
>nostalgia for a past explicitly fascist aesthetic current
the future of marxism is the retvrn of marinetti and shitty american sci-fi serials... art is an emergent product of the social movement of people, and "aesthetics" in art (you are using the word as a stand-in for genre) are the retroactive conceptualization of these emergent social currents, so rather than asking "is retrofuturism the future of marxism" we should look at what art there is and which aesthetic currents and trends we occupy. This is an imageboard, which is presented in a visually functional manner. Lots of meme imagery. Lots of anime. Lots of very noisy referential historical collage images that convey a mocking, satirical, and educated awareness. Little here distinguishes us from other online communities. Can we divine the future aesthetic interests of people from all of this? Not really. Excepting perhaps that we are products of our time/circumstances in the same way every other person is. Any future popular communist movement will emerge w people alongside whatever aesthetic trends there happen to be, speculation regarding its eventual fictional taxon isn't particularly interesting. You're better off making art yourself in the way you want.

All that being said, the future of marxism is ai generated zombie formalist anthro insect porn long form comics with plots lifted from various greek tragedies copy and pasted like tilesets over everything. antigone. Hope u see my vision. >_<

is this a contradiction
is this a contradictionKeli Kameks6086[Reply]

Sorta new to Marxism, so forgive me if I fuck some things up.

A lot of liberal/bougie ideology is obsessed with the idea of the private landowner / small business owner / petite bourgeoisie, largely because a lot of the ideological framework was born out of the rise of the bourgeoisie as small independent tradesmen and artisans, to justify why they should become the ruling class. But the logic of capital necessarily dictates that the petite bourgeoisie be crushed as firms compete and capital concentrates.

So you have an ideology built to justify and uplift the petite bourgeoisie, and the material reality of that ideology of an economic system that basically guarantees the petite bourgie's extinction. Is this not a big contradiction, or am i missing something / being braindead

Any fellow Bourg Marxist here?
Any fellow Bourg Marxist here?Barbarian6023[Reply]>>6067>>6078

If so, why and how did you become a Marxist?

For me it was a combination of, on the one hand, the sort of cold hostility towards society that naturally arises with being forced to cycle on and off amphetamines and SSRI's since grade school + the general alienation that pervades spectacular society, and, on the other hand, a lifelong interest in history and the social sciences. Essentially, I found the materialist conception of history far more compelling and explanatory than whatever was offered by bourgeois thought, which usually ceases to be truly historical whenever it approaches one of its hallowed abstractions or concepts ("justice" ,"human rights", value, and especially bourgeois/commodity society itself) or generally just degrades into moralism or great man theory when faced with certain topics, mainly fascism. naturally, accepting the materialist conception of history means knowing that class conflict is endemic to capitalist society, which, commodity society having ascended to a state of global and total social hegemony over the past centuries, leaves us only one real choice for the future: socialism or barbarism.

Like seriously, liberals cannot give a coherent account of fascism or human rights beyond le evil racist authoritarians and "human rights follow naturally from the idea of Justice" (John Rawls Btw).

surprisingly, shame has very little to do with it, as in I don't feel any guilt for being privileged or whatever. Really being bourg has probably made me more hostile to commodity society in general, in that you cant fall into the copium--promoted pretty much everywhere--that money or accumulating commodities will make you happy. it wont. What the capitalist economy deprives us of--meaning, personal and historical agency, and fulfilling social relations--cant be bought with money. you cant buy your way out of commodity fetishism/alienation, only more commodity slop, which tbf can be pretty cool at times.

Barbarian6067>>6073

>>6023 (OP)
I think it was a reflection of my "political development" in my teens, naturally guiding me into actually reading political theory. Which culminated me into adopting the Marxist perspective by the time I got out of high school, beforehand I was nothing more than a part time LARPer who had this very narrativebrained idea on history that consistently shifted between whatever I thought was "righteous" and captivating enough to me. I think I was specifically into Nietszche, and his writings at a certain point because I thought it was most relevant to me at the time. And I grew tired of these very same Liberal "ethics" that derive themselves from Christian morals, you see it everywhere whenever you're taught history and how events coalesced which didn't seem right to me because of how reductive it really was. And how nothing can be seen as truly circumstantial, or viewed from a more impersonal lense because you HAVE to abide by these objective codes of "ethics". So something that was antithetical to these constantly repeated axioms, and Golden Calfs was some relief. But it was quite obvious that my "Nieszchean" anti-egalitarian perspective was mostly rooted in introjection, contrarianism, and mostly annoyance with what I was taught.

Barbarian6073

>>6067
What got me to start reading Marx was ironically when I was an anti communist, and wanted to refute most of the retarded (liberal) leftists I'd encounter. But in actuality I found a historical framework that operated impersonally and doesn't attempt to apply any consciousness/intent to axioms of our existence for the sake of it. Capital does not have any thoughts, feelings, or humanly malevolent intent, it is simply a relationship/structure that can incentivize the worst excesses of man through its existence alone and that says enough. Along with that it also gives a coherent perspective on how nations are formed as a conglomeration to control and expand capital, rather than the idealistic perspective of simply saying "WELL NATIONS, NATURALLY EXIST, THERE'S A SECRET NATIONAL GEIST IN THE POPULACES." That's just retarded if you factor in how culture operates, along with some anthropology. Like the Czech, or Italian nations barely or didn't exist as a concept at all 300 years ago. I could go on, but those are among the few things that caught my attention.
Anyways, yeah having shame for being in your current circumstance has always seemed retarded to me. Because you're just wallowing that you're not 'oppressed' enough, objectively not being as oppressed is a beneficial thing. What you should focus on is the upheaval of those surrounding you, and using what you have to the best of your abilities. If anything, I think Marxism gave me another perspective to my relationship with capital

Barbarian6078

>>6023 (OP)
I was misled by the aftershocks of the Cold War and the falsifiers which were prevalent there for a while, but generally I was always communist-adjacent, just gone "capitalism is the best we have dood"-core. Being both neurodivergent and with a rare chronic illness further alienated me, and talking to a councilcom, a trot and a maoist (each different people) on a polsim server finally pushed me towards reading theory. I'mkind of similiar to you in that it was more of an interesting sidenote rather than a point of shame that I am child to a bourg family - I can presume this stems from applying a materialist rather than idealist view to such a thing, being from a certain class does not an "evil"/"bad" person make
