why are you worrying about these things? they're only a problem if it's written to be. coworkers can be 1 step removed from the protagonists, like bosses or janitors. neighbors can be serial cheaters with a retinue of housewives to fuck and don't interfere with personal life. family can be distant relatives with very limited interactions in a silent filial dynamic. status quo can easily be maintained as bedroom life is surprisingly easy to compartmentalize. bad bulls can be cut off or kicked out of relationships if it feels to dangerous. the drama in these stories is meant to engage readers and make their complicated emotions flourish even more wildly. "vanilla" nts is only as risque as the author demands

Because I'm trying to take it seriously. It takes me out of the story when writers write goofy shit that doesn't stand up to scrutiny. VR is full of that. I don't think bosses are very far removed from the protagonists - they literally control the employment of the main characters, and have the ability to cause a lot of chaos should they wish to. With neighbors, they are hard to cut off because they know where you live. This might work if you like the trope of the wife sleeping around while the husband is at work, but that's a bit too intense for the flavor of NTS I'd like to do.

Something kind of spicy that I haven't seen done much that might be fun is some reverse blackmail. Using dirt on someone to make them comply with the couple's plays.

No there hasnt been anything concrete, I guess the lowest height in KCES isnt low enough for you. (BTW the slider goes down to 20 as a minimum but with cheat engine or mods you can easily reduce the minimum by another 20 units)
