So I completed 2 runs, the first was easy because it is the default difficulty and the second run is normal difficulty. Music is ok but I have to listen to them more and the art is as gorgeous as I expected it to be.

The gameplay however is very lackluster. I didn't expect it to have the quality of Dead Cells, but the game simply doesn't feel fluid at all. I couldn't give a better explanation except that the normal attack and its sequence simply doesn't feel rewarding. Sometime there is a slow motion but it seem to make the game run at slower fps and it felt really sluggish. Heavy attack feel useless when it doesn't do anything that normal attack already does. Square hole type ♥♥♥♥.

While I think that for this genre of game it is necessary to keep the overall flow of the fight going, however, I think it is as equally important that the enemy's hit should felt impactful and give the player enough negative feedback that the dodge would feel satisfying. I want the enemies attack to be more telegraphed, deal more damage, and feel more impactful. Most of the damages I took are just some chip damage from small enemies. I want more of the enemies that tell me I have to dodge their attack or else.

I don't like the current boss fight gameplay. The current boss stun gauge is imo way too low. If you have a good build going then you will can simply skip all the boss mechanics. I want to engage with the fight and see what they do since I think the strength of using Touhou characters in your game is their unique design and adapting their spells into the game. The current gameplay just doesn't provide that.

Sannyo's minigame is really fun, when I do a little bit of EV calculation in my head, I think it is a really neat and well designed minigame. However, it is simply took too long and break the overall flow of the gameplay.

Map feel unnecessary big, or movement is not fast enough, or maybe both.

Overall, if you are looking for a roguelike to sink hours into the game then this is probably not a game you are looking for in the current state, but if you want to try a Touhou fan game with gorgeous art that might seem to have a lot of potential then this is a game I think you should try. Currently the game is in early access so I will happily change my review when the game is more refined, however as it currently stand I will have to leave a negative review.

mokou my goat is in this game as a playable character, instant 10/10.

doesnt have english supported yet but i think the devs are working on that and you can figure out how things work without being able to read anything since theres images for the abilities and you can sort of guess what they do,
gameplay is good and a bit difficult at times, but thats what id want in a game like this.

This game has phenomenal art, music, and a great story. With how much content the early access offers, you'll receive content well worth its price.

The unlockable characters offer new playstyles, albeit slightly unpolished for now. Although the developers are Chinese, they did a very great job translating the game into English. The game additionally contains adjustable hitstop, among other amazing accessibility features, which I think is really cool.

anyways, add Sanae as a playable character and my life is yours.

Well having almost 5 hours as I am writing this and having over 70% of the achievements I suggest this game heavily!

The art style is the same as Mystia's Izakaya which is already phenomenal each landscape is beautifully crafted and every attack and minor detail is well thought out. The music is slightly repetitive, but in a good way where it doesn't get tiring to hear back per run. My only real complaint is that the heavy attack could use some tweaking where you have more incentive to actually use it since right now it's overshadowed by the skills and the light attack just fitting the game's combat much better.

Overall this game is easily a 10/10 and it isn't even fully out as there are more characters, bosses, items and more being added. (I still yet to unlock Mokou since I was focusing on the skill trees.) I really am excited for the future of this game, big recommend!

First of all, game looks good, just completed my first run, hitting feels really nice, and uhhh idk, I like touhou...also love that bosses can actully take knockback from attacks that are strong enough. only issue, which I can ignore is the translations had an issue where some code appeard in the dialouge or something during one of the memory things, and it coulden't progress cus the next dialouge just woulden't show up, there is a skip button though so you don't get softlocked, and I can view it later when they fix it. :3

while still in early access the game offers more than enough content for its price. since its a roguelite, unless you know how to read simplified chinese you'll have a hard time playing this in any other language you know.
(didn't stop me, i'm using this game as an excuse to learn)
gameplay shows great potential, early game can feel a bit sluggish but once you invest your time into skills and learn how to utilize items properly it can be very fun.

phenomenal artwork and soundtracks which are very inspiring for me, thank you for including jukebox and art gallery in-game!!

i wish nothing but the best for the developers in finishing the game

看别人玩了全程又自己上手试了一下,既没看出剧情到底在讲个什么门道,也不知道游戏玩法哪里有趣。

作为一个ARPG游戏,我觉得加入类似Capcom做的那些动作游戏同款的击中停顿机制(下文中称hitstop)是很不妥的。Hitstop的意义就在于打击感与平衡节奏,但是在本游戏中两者都没能做到,反而导致了卡顿。同为横板2D动作游戏,死亡细胞就成为了一个很好的例子。打击感自然要从敌人的受击反馈中来,但是本作中受击反馈几乎没有,动画也不够干劲利落,音效也仅是差强人意,整体就是一种轻飘飘的感觉而只有停顿,反倒感觉像是玩MHW玩一半卡了一下。Hitstop的问题并不是什么品味不同,而是按那类游戏的做过来根本就不妥。就算是有Hitstop也不能过长。
画面冲击力不足或许也是这类像素风作品的一种劣势。至于各种机制以及其他评测中提到的近战吸附一类便不多赘述。(毕竟连段这类的随便抓个人问都有想法)
以及不论是键鼠操作还是手柄都挺令人失望的,蓄力和跳跃实在是太卡手了。手柄边按X还要按B手指都快成麻花了,以至于我直接把攻击改到LT闪避改到RT,直接自己把三四号技能禁了,结果还被蓄力和跳跃卡。键盘上也是按非想天则一般如法炮制,结果也是不尽人意。鼠标攻击的邪修也行不通
令我好奇的终究是为什么有这么多好评。这个好评率不知道的还以为这游戏比死亡细胞做的还好。
