Why Ikv 103 Nerf
I don't think it was needed at all, it was a fairly easy vehicle to counter, it had a 10 second reload at stock and at 4.0 with Mg-Able Armor. Why remove the HEAT-FS and move it down to 3.7, I don't think it was an issue at 4.0 and I'd say it was better than the M22 at getting godmode. Why is a very unique 4.0 vehicle that I've seen no one complain about getting nerfed?

Just goes to show you that if enough people complain about the "400mM oF pEn At 4.0," eventually Gaijin will notice and change it
Remember back when HEAT-FS was first added and everyone called it cheat-FS? Ahh, the good old days…
Don't quote me on this since back then I barely had any vehicles shooting heatfs but back when the leo 1, m103 and t-10m were top tier heatfs was the best round (the unlockable one, higher damage than now, like current apfsds) and apds was the bad stock round (no damage/spall, needle damage, now it's way better)
Back then HEAT did a fuckload of damage which kind of changed how it performed.
I was using it in top tier. 400mm pen, fast and smol

That's what I'm saying, the thing dies to 7.62 Mg's. In fact I think it'll die to 1 frag from a HE shell. It had great gun depression sure, but it was still easy to counter and due to the way armor works, the shell would still do nothing sometimes. Even thought I've had some experience of taking it into Tiger H1 or sometimes Tiger 2 BR and the gun control completely tanking hits and keeping me alive under constant fire, it was still a balanced vehicle already. But I guarantee If it was Russian it would stay 4.0 or be moved to 3.7 without losing the HEAT-FS, it's really stupid. I hope everyone comes together to stop this unnecessary change.

They’re removing the most unique part of the tank. When I thought about the Ikv-103, I thought about the 400 pen HEAT-FS, it’s basically the entire identity of the vehicle.
The funny thing is, the ikv 103 was developed from the 102, solely to use the neat heat fs round...
Meaning we could've gotten the ikv 102, which is a 103 without the 400mm pen heat fs and some minimal changes, instead of removing the only special round the 103 has.
That was actually the entire reason I spaded mine, I saw a round thats really fun to troll with, it's kinda like that 2.0 USA bomber with a 2k pound bomb. It's a good tank and it's already balanced, the heat round was embarrassingly slow compared to rounds of that BR imo which made it easy to see coming and return fire and either hope to trade or get out of the way. Considering it's also a slow enough round to be intercepted by APS in top tier, it wasnt a absolute godmode farming machine and it still needed skill to use. It's a absolutely unnecessary change.
it's really perplexing, it doesn't really change much the way i see it so why not keep it unique? might as well just play the SAV m/43 if this goes through
No idea considering the ikv 102 is in the game suggestions as a version without heat and it was approved nearly a year ago
In typical Gaijin fashion they'll add the Ikv 102, then move the 103 back up in BR but not give it the HEAT shell back lmao.

Also if it was a Russian tank it would go to 3.3 while HEAT-FS would get buffed.
Yeah, I think it's funny how Sweden has so many Russian imports in game, but they're no where near as good in Sweden as in the Russian tree. I feel like a lot of Swedens tanks are missing spall liners and someone with 51 nukes and counting told me that the STRV 122 tanks have inaccurate interior armor such as a lack of spall liners. It's really disappointing, I hope GHPC stays true to their word and makes warthunder but better, I'd still play warthunder but I want a game that's fun and balanced and not heavily biased as a secondary for when I get burnt out on this game.
Yeah, minor nations always get fucked, Italy has a 5.0 Sherman Firefly, same as one that's 4.7 in UK tree.....

Only the FS one, it still has a fairly modern spin stabilized HEAT. I believe the pen is something around 250mm
IIRC, a 240mm pen basic HEAT shell, the one that's getting removed is a HEAT-FS shell.
I feel pretty bad about having missed out on this tank now...
You can always get it and use it while it's not nerfed. It's fun vehicle to use, it's almost as Uptier Proof as the SAV 20.12.48.
