Sustainability
Basic Sustainability Policy
Through its reuse business, the Hard Off Group will make group-wide efforts to solve social and environmental issues, such as reducing waste and greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to the realization of a society in which ecology and economy coexist.
We will also work to strengthen our human capital, including health management, so that our employees and staff, who are the bearers of our success, can work with smiles and vigor for 50 years with peace of mind.
Reuse Business
We operate reuse shops throughout Japan and overseas that buy and sell unwanted items. By promoting the reuse of goods, we reduce waste and contribute to environmental protection.
HARD OFF ECO Stadium Niigata
We have had the naming rights for Niigata Prefectural Baseball Stadium since 2009. We will contribute to the local community by aiming to make the stadium the most environmentally friendly in Japan.
Reuse cup
As an ecology sponsor, we support the operation of deposit-type reuse cups at official home games of J-League Albirex Niigata. This has the effect of reducing CO2 emissions by 30 tons per year.
Sustainability Center
We have set up a sustainability center to sort out in detail items that are difficult to sell as merchandise and recycle them.
Health Management
The Health Management Promotion Committee, chaired by the president, has been established to study and implement initiatives based on health issues, with the aim of revitalizing the organization based on the maintenance and promotion of the health of employees and staff, and improving human resource retention and recruiting capabilities.
archery competition
Once a year, an archery tournament is held in conjunction with a sports event for the handicapped, utilizing the free use of "HARD OFF ECO Stadium Niigata".
Mt. Fuji Sweeping
Fuji cleanup activities organized by the Japan Reuse Industry Association every year as a member company of the association.
