About Borealand[]
The flag of the VRB.
Borealand, officially the Administrative Republic of Borealand (or Verwaltungsrepublik Borealand in the native language) was a recently founded nation located east of the Simaris peninsula across the ocean.
The VRB was also a founding member of the Transoceanic Pact alongside close ally and neighbor Atyobi.

The political system of the VRB placed an unelected Verwalter as the Head of State, though generally the Verwalter had minimal intervention in everyday government action they were responsible for ensuring that elections of the democratically elected individuals go smoothly and the constitution is upheld. Below the Verwalter was the elected Kanzler who leads an appointed cabinet of ministers. Below the cabinet was the State Assembly (Staatversammlung) who were elected representatives for the people governed by the VRB.
History[]
The nation was founded on 7/6/21 when founder WizzyDev proclaimed the Verwaltungsrepublik Borealand, placing himself as Verwalter. The nation was further legitimised with an unofficial alliance with Atyobi then further legitimised upon official invitation to the Transoceanic Pact as a founding member.
On June 18th Borealand expanded it's claimed territories southeast, reaching the Lenzian border
On July 13th 2021 Borealand unclaimed all it's territories and officially disbanded, this is the official message sent by WizzyDev: "I hereby declare the official disbanding of Borealand and relinquish all of its territories and claims with no additional terms or conditions. Also on July 13th, the Fall of the Zenburg tower happened. Following the dismantling of Borealand, a fire erupted from within the Zenburg tower in the late hours of the night, the flag of the VRB burnt into embers as the lights of the port blinkered out for the last time.

Later on the same day Atyobi announced the annexation of all previous Borealand's territories.
Major Locations in the VRB[]
As the nation was in its infancy, there was only one key location in the VRB.
- Zenburg was the capital city of the VRB and it lied along the Western Coast with Simaris visible in the distance from the lighthouse.
