I have a theory that AI bros have a vampire-like allergy of real art (like vampires do with the sun), and so u resort to ai slop bc it is the closest thing to art that you will ever see. allow me to test my theory. tell me if this original human-made art hurts your eyes. I am a VERY strong "anti" (normal person), and I have absolutely no idea what this is about. I am a gnostic atheist, alongside the entirety of my immediate and extended family (who are also """"""""antis"""""""""). My hatred of ai (in education and art of any kind) is fuelled simply because (in art) it is effortless slop that effectively robs talented creators of their hard work, and because (in education) because it robs children of their creativity. what I see in this comment is that you have somehow managed to link hatred of AI with some random bad thing. (Not trying to downplay the traumatic effects of religious upbringings, the only thing I agree with you on)

W parent ngl I don't really get your complaint, not all meat comes from abusive factory farms and your attempted hypocrisy "gotcha" doesn't make sense as for all we know, that family is vegan. As for the logic of "This doesn't matter because this other thing is also bad", not only is that extremely flawed, but also as in that unlike eating meat, AI usage is not something that we have evolved over millions over years to be biologically inclined to do.

why can't AI bros just call us "normal people"? As for the actual message of the post, I think I can speak for most normal people when I say that I don't really care if you can now produce higher quality slop. it's still slop, but most importantly, it's still discernible as ai and therefore will not be fooling anyone. Calling AI 'art' your own is like ordering a cake at a bakery and then saying you made it because you requested that it have sprinkles.
