On Valentines Day, I had the best visit in a long time with Mom. She talked about school in Gretna, spelt ‘cat’, ‘February’, and ‘Valentine’(remembering to say capital V). And corrected herself when she doubled ‘r’ by saying ‘only one r’! She remembered she had two children, Enid and Greg, but when I asked her where they were, she relied, ‘Gretna’. And so on for about 30 minutes! She still fascinates me on occasion!
