The database is large and regularly surprises users with how far back and how deep it reaches. Older recordings, regional releases, and catalogue tracks that fans assumed were unfindable often come back with a match. No system is exhaustive though, very recent releases, hyperlocal music, and certain regional catalogues are the realistic gaps. If a song returns no result, try one of the workflows below before giving up.

The simplest submission is often the most accurate
