President Nixon's 1973 Special Classified Executive Order to destroy all documents in the MJ & MK compartments - proof it existed.
A reference to a Presidential Directive to destroy all records pertaining to the MK-ULTRA program surfaces in a declassified CIA document.
In my recent interview on Reality Check with Ross Coulthart and fellow researcher Jed Davis (MJ12 Logic), I made reference to a Special Classified Executive Order (SCEO) by President Richard M. Nixon in 1973 that ordered the destruction of all references and documentation pertaining to the MJ and MK compartments within the CIA. Here is the proof of that statement, along with the references in the Majestic Documents.
The challenge now is to find this SCEO directive by Nixon and declassify it in full.
The above letter was supplied to Timothy Cooper on June 30, 1999, and accompanied the infamous “Burned Memo” that directly implicated the MJ-12 group in the murder of President John F. Kennedy in broad daylight. As I indicated in the interview, I believe the author of this document (known as “Source S-1”), was in fact Newton “Scotty” Miler. He was one of the few people the CIA Director of Counter Intelligence at that time, James Jesus Angleton, would have entrusted with the task of loading all documentation into the incinerator.
The same letter references “Nixon’s SCEO” that ordered all MJ-12 documentation purged and destroyed. We now know from declassified testimony from the 1975 Church Committee that there was indeed a Presidential Directive in January 1973 for destruction of a sister compartment to the one that had a CIA digraph of “MJ” - the MK compartment of MK-ULTRA and MK-NAOMI programs.

Although this document has a release date of January 15, 1983, it still proves that there was an actual directive from Nixon to destroy the MK compartment records. What I posit here is that the same SCEO probably also included the directive to destroy the MJ compartment records too.
One of the lawyers involved in the U.S. Senate select Church Committee that investigated government abuses of power in the 1970s, including domestic surveillance of United States citizens, was former Trump attorney Joseph diGenova. His social security number was accidently released in 2025 by the National Archives and Records Administration in the final tranche of files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. As such, diGenova (and most probably President Trump) are well aware of the Majestic 12’s role in the assassination.
Another letter to Cooper from Miler (the “Important Memo”) was received on July 9, 1999 and contained the following passage:
It is interesting here to note the testimony of Douglas Caddy, attorney for Watergate Burglar and CIA “everywhere man” E. Howard Hunt, lines up with these paragraphs from the Important Memo. In an interview with Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt, Caddy discusses the conversation he had with Hunt on the eve of his imprisonment for the Watergate burglary.
Hunt told Caddy that the Watergate burglars were looking for "Cuban Government reports related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy". These files may be the reports that the Cubans extracted under torture from David Lamar Christ, who was arrested in Havana in 1960 and remained incarcerated for 2.5 years. Christ was the CIA's first specifically employed scientist who was involved in assisting Israel in building its first atomic weapon and also possibly CIA reverse engineering efforts of downed UFOs. Hunt explains to Caddy the real reason President Kennedy was assassinated was because he planned to reveal to the Soviets “our most vital secret - the alien presence”. This 5-minute section of Liszt’s interview of Caddy has the specifics.
Nixon famously dumped Richard Helms as the Director of Central Intelligence after winning the 1972 Presidential Election in a landslide. Immediately after his re-election, Nixon called for all appointed officials in his administration to resign.
Helms did not consider his position at CIA to be a political job, which was the traditional view within the Agency, and so did not resign as DCI. On November 20 1972, Helms came to Camp David to an interview with Nixon about what he thought was a “budgetary matter”. Nixon’s chief of staff, H. R. Haldeman also attended. Helms was then informed by Nixon that his services in the new administration would not be required. Helms was offered the position of Ambassador to the Soviet Union, which he declined. He was then offered the position of Ambassador to Iran, which he accepted. Helms walked away from the meeting thinking that he would still retain the position of DCI well into 1973, and after returning from annual leave on January 6th, 1973, he was informed by H.R. Halderman that he would be gone by the end of the month.
“The timing caught me by surprise. I had barely enough time to get my things out of the office and to assemble as many colleagues of all ranks as possible for a farewell. … A few days later, I encountered Haldeman. ‘What happened to our understanding that my exit would be postponed for a few weeks?’ I asked. ‘Oh, I guess we forgot,’ he said with the faint trace of a smile. And so, it was over.”
Helms therefore had very little time to tie up any loose ends within the CIA that may have connected him to either MK-ULTRA or MJ-12. Whether he was trying to save his own ass or Nixon’s is unclear - nevertheless, Helms ensured the destruction was complete.
Or so he thought.
