While everyone's freaking out over the new Sonic movie, I'd like to remind you all of a previous failed Sonic movie pitch. Here's concept art for "Sonic Armageddon", drawn by Ken Penders. It was pitched to Dreamworks in 2002 but to our knowledge, it never got further than that.
